It is our greatest pleasure to launch the open call for the member of the Board, Fundraiser, at the European Youth Parliament (EYP) Armenia for 2014-2015. Work at the European Youth Parliament – Armenia is implemented on the voluntary basis. The general workload is 1 hour a day and doesn’t require the presence of the Board Member at the Office (implies work from home). Nevertheless, EYP Armenia Board Meetings take place on Saturday/ Sunday every week and last for 3-4 hours.

Fundraiser Key Responsibilities and Duties:
To develop a strategy and concept for fundraising for the planned sessions, trainings and projects; To write out the budget for the upcoming sessions, trainings and projects; To seek for the grant opportunities in Armenia to apply for the implementation of the EYP Sessions; To write grant proposal (in Armenian, in English) to attract local and international funds from the representations of International Organization in Armenia, Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, EU Institutions, etc; To work out the development plan for attracting the in-kind contribution from the Universities, Schools, Centers and present it to the President and Vice-President; To closely work with various private enterprises for sponsoring EYP events.

The deadline for the application is 26 May, 23:59 CET, 2013. Election procedures: The elections will be held in the following stages: 1. After the application submission deadline, all the applicants will be registered. 2. A joint booklet will be created on Board Elections which will comprise motivation letters, EYP experience, photos, any other information on all the candidates for the specified positions. 3. 1 week will be given for all the EYP Armenia Alumni to get to know the candidates, go through the prepared booklet, thus checking the motivation and experience of the candidates. 4. After above-mentioned 1 week the online voting will be launched in the scope of which all the EYP Armenia Alumni will be voting on their preferred candidates; 5. The online voting will last for 5 days, and will be considered legitimate in case more than 50% of EYP Armenia Alumni take part in it; 6. The Independent Committee will be monitoring the online voting process and will publish the results right after it closes. citizen. The EYP encourages independent thinking and socio-political initiative in young people and facilitates the learning of crucial social and professional skills. Since its inauguration, many tens of thousands of young people have taken part in regional, national and international sessions, formed friendships and made international contacts across and beyond borders. Today the EYP is one of the largest European platforms for political debate, intercultural encounters, political educational work and the exchange of ideas among young people in Europe. The EYP consists of a network of 35 European associations and organizations in which thousands of young people are active in a voluntary capacity. EYP Armenia was given a full membership in the European Youth Parliament on December 14, 2012. Since then, 12 projects have been implemented which involved around 2500 young people, hosted 65 foreign students from Austria, Hungary, Ukraine, Russia, France, Germany, Poland, Georgia, Montenegro, India, USA, Moldova, Romania, Sweden, Kazakhstan, 45 volunteers from Armenia, Georgia, Sweden, Romania.
