Motivation The question of leadership is not to aspire to be like anyone else. I think that being a leader means to be who you are, natural, and authentic. It means that you try to do the best you can every day. The reason I think that these are good qualities in a leader, is that they show a desire for change. I am looking for ideas that I can implement and bring to life. I would like to animate every city and provide EYP culture throughout the nation. If I accomplish this with the help of EYP, we will have a new generation of future leaders in every part of the country. I know that if we work together we can help each other to build a better world.

2014 Board member on Regional Development Regional Development of EYP-Ukraine

Period Department/Council/Working Group Main Responsibilities

2015 Vice-President on Regional Development Regional Development and strategic development of the organisation.

Motivation EYP is an exceptional place for personal development and professional experience. I have turned out to be a member of this organisation since 2012 when I participated in the Autumn General Assembly. I freaked out and did not want to be associated with this organisation because it appeared as something different. I was afraid of new things in my life. However, I have become a part of the national board of EYP-Ukraine and successfully performed there for 2 years working on Regional Development of EYP-Ukraine trying to bring EYP into regions and make youngsters across Ukraine familiar with this wonderful opportunity called “EYP. These 2 years helped me a lot to discover myself and this world. These 2 years changed my perception of people and reality. These two years in the national board proved to be the best experience I could ever have. Hence, I feel motivated to join the organisation once again but in a different position. I want to join EYP-Ukraine as a Member of the Auditing Committee. I want do to it because I possess tons of EYP National Committee management knowledge and practical experience that will be definitely an asset for the new board of EYP-Ukraine. My limitless dedication to EYP-Ukraine proved to be borderless. While residing outside of Ukraine, I have managed to uphold high EYP-Ukraine standards regarding Regional Development, develop Regional Development Strategy and Regional Committee policy which supposedly to be implemented in the upcoming year. All in all, I want to help as much as I can in the upcoming year and stay as active as I am, and the position of the Auditing Committee Member will help me to perform and achieve a new level of the organisation development in 2016.

Programme statement Goal and vision for the portfolio Personally, I observe the Auditing Committee as a supportive and advisory body. Hence, I want to execute those functions to its fullest and support the board in every single step it does both by providing my opinion on a certain thing and helping with the things on a practice, too. Unfortunately, there is a certain feeling that does happen with Board Members when feedback or comments are perceived as a point to pitch. However, my personal goal will be to stay supportive and helpful as much as I can, yet without any negative feelings. EYP is, obviously, a nice place for learning and further development, but this is not a place for negative emotions and tears that sometimes occur at the time of feedback. Sometimes, we take

7

Auditing Committee our voluntary activities too seriously which is absolutely respected, but it is not the only thing people can do, hence, I do not want this voluntary experience bring any negative emotions at all. In a nutshell, together with the fellow Members of the Auditing Committee and the Board of EYP-Ukraine I will work on developing this organisation using people-friendly methods and personal approach towards Board members and Leadership. Also, I want to ensure that EYP-Ukraine does uphold current EYP International standards when it comes to our policies, visual input and activities. This will help to improve the image of EYP-Ukraine within EYP network as well as a key player on a map of youth organisations in Ukraine. Execution When it comes to the concrete things, I want to highlight a usage of and other online means of communication (Viber, Google Hangout, etc.). I want to have a Skype with the board of EYPUkraine (President and Vice-Presidents) every month where we have the following agenda: What we have done and achieved, What are going to do in the upcoming month, Help and advice, Feedback on the Board’s performance. I also want to suggest the board to include the Auditing Committee into the Weekly Synchronisation and then Auditing Committee together with Intern can also work on improving the communication flow with the Leadership and members. Leadership survey and Board Report proved to be a useful tool for the board’s evaluation and the organisation evaluation overall, so I am eager to continue this tradition. Also, I am willing to revise the Leadership survey and improve it if needed, so we may have a clear number of areas for further improvement. I also want to concentrate on articulation of events’ evaluation and the improvement of the quality of our events. Events’ evaluation has to be a transparent thing which is to published on EYP-Ukraine web-site and shared with the Organisers of EYP-Ukraine activities. An extremely important initiative for sustainable development of EYP-Ukraine is a Policy Book. Its compilation is already in place and being executed under coordination and supervision of Iryna Gabuz and Anya Suprunenko. This initiative has to be finalised, approved and implemented in the upcoming year. The other very important thing is an Annual Report which is to be written with the help of the board. I will do my best to present the achievement of the board in the upcoming year and present them all in the Annual Report. Indicators Monthly Skype with the Board of EYP-Ukraine Board Report on a quarterly basis Leadership survey twice a year Annual Report released before February 2017

8

Auditing Committee Please outline your vision, aims and top priorities as an Auditing Committee Member of EYP-Ukraine Vision Auditing Committee has to perform as a supportive and advisory body, and its potential is at the disposal of the national board of EYP-Ukraine. Aim I aim at supporting the Board of EYP-Ukraine by providing my expertise and feedback as well as developing communication flow. Top priorities Have the Leadership Survey as well as an Annual Report out on time. Provide the Board of EYP-Ukraine with comprehensive feedback and support. Ensure sufficient communication within EYP-Ukraine.

Auditing Committee Motivation Since EYP has entered my life over 7 years ago now, I have experienced this organisation in all possible roles. This encompasses both EYP sessions, internal and external governance of EYP. This experience helps me to see the so-called ‘bigger picture’, which is an important quality for an Auditing Committee member when advising the organisation on its development. After holding position of president I feel once again ready to advise and supervise it on more generalized level – the strategic level. Auditing Committee Please outline your vision, aims and top priorities as an Auditing Committee Member of EYP-Ukraine Next year I would see EYP – Ukraine as one of the key players in the youth community in Ukraine. Many educational secondary and higher establishments as well as vocational schools are aware of EYP – Ukraine and are willing to participate in its activities. They see EYP as a non-formal education platform and willingly support events of the organsations by different means. Next year EYP-Ukraine becomes also a good training platform, a warm home, a safety net for young and fresh Ukrainian minds. It is an environment, where youngsters are not afraid to express their mind, try something new. Their initiatives are highly encouraged and welcome. This is the place to discover all of youngster’s hidden talents and shape the future outlook. EYP – Ukraine reaches out not only to different regions but also to different groups by providing opportunities of regional engagement and various travel and participating scholarships. Along with that EYP-Ukraine becomes the drive for innovations both on local and international level in the sphere of approach to education and event organising. EYP-Ukraine continues its partnership with civic society in working on the new law on youth by contributing its ideas to it. The organisation is continues its partnership with a number of public institutions and partners with a famous Ukrainian GoGlobal Initiative by participating in the events of promoting English language knowledge in Ukraine in 2016. EY-Ukraine’s older alumni are active in the organisation and contribute to international governance of EYP, namely they participate in the work of Alumni Councils and various working groups next to their engagement in EYP sessions on international level. All the departments work actively and Auditing committee is also actively involved in supervision of their work not only as an auditing but as an advisory body.

Motivation First of all, I want to say that the strongest part of E YP are its members. E YP community is represented by active, enthusiastic, energetic, creative and extremely clever persons. And such atmosphere is the best ground for constant growing, developing and improving ourselves and as result whole EYP as well. I am sure exactly position of secretary can bring me huge experience in business correspondence and communication, presentation of organisation and events, work with documents, administrative work of the Board and of course organising my own life in the most productive way. All this opportunities sounds really powerful. But. What can I propose EYP in my turn? It’s my endless curiosity, love to innovations and improvement processes, technique knowledge in work with documents, deep love to coordinate people, enthusiastic and active life-style. And strong desire to self-developing and readiness for challenges. Relevant experience and knowledge I have finished school of organize of public projects “ShoGrom. So I have good basic understanding of NGO-world. Specifically what is role of social problems for organization activities, significant of vision and mission for organization, creating goals and plan of developing, finding of stake holders and partners, mission of fundraising and reporting, work with volunteers, strategies of administration, marketing and PR of projects. Thanks to this school I have complete picture of NGO-life. But I want to upgrade my knowledge, get deep understanding of all processes and of course be able to handle with NGO reality. And I am sure all my knowledge that I already have will help me to do my work in E YP really strategic and topical.

Programme statement Key year goals and indicators: 1. Automation processes of working with documents As I am a student of technique specialisation I will try to make all processes in working with documents as automotive as it only possible, And this will help to spend more time for necessary details.

22

2. Assist President and the Board on the high level

Secretary In my opinion, role of assistant is the most important duty of the secretary. I will do all my best to make all cooperative processes comfortable, productive and informative. 3. Become professional representative and first contact face of E YP We need to have a lot of cooperation with business and NGOs. And everywhere we should represent ourselves as real professionals. E specially it relevant to secretary, who is alike bridge between interested persons in EYP and Organization at all. First impression could bring us tens and hundreds of new members, partners and sponsors. And E YP will spread its values and visions all over Ukraine. 4. Build strong database of all documents It means create complete library of EYP-life. There will store all necessary information for current and future EYP-generation. All instructions for Departments, Board, President, Organisation work, R eports of events, Proposals, useful Databases, Advices and Life hacks. This library will help to gather all actual knowledge and experience in one place. It will be excellent application for system of further experience.

Secretary Motivation Since the EYP-Ukraine appeared in my life, it started to become better. And this is not a rant. I first became acquainted with the EYP in 2012, thanks to The tour InterRail. New friends, crazy tumbling, long and tense discussions, GA, voting... All of that made a lasting impression on me. A year later, the situation repeated. And somehow in an incredible way my life began to change. The EYP has become my piston in life. This was manifested in the following: the moving, the participation in many research activities, also I became President of the Parliament of the Lyceum, where I studied and then entered the University. I got new experiences, knowledge, acquaintances. I became more mature. Time passed and the EYP is back in my life. The idea of becoming part of the EYP originated in my soul since round 3 InterRail. It is no coincidence, because in June of 2015 I became the main local organizer of the regional session InterRail in Kriviy Rih. And the changes began anew. Again moving, meeting new people, now events in the specialty, a new job. Everything goes in a circle. Or rather, a spiral. What’s the difference? That the new spiral is larger than the previous one... But what does it mean? It means, that the next step in my life is even more introduction to EYP-Ukraine. And so, I became older, wiser, have gained experience of communicating with people, made new acquaintances and I had ideas on how to make the EYP even better. Why am I filing my candidacy for the Board? EYP has given me much and now it is my turn to act!

Motivation Just like for any other kind of activity, I have a set of reasons to join the new Board, varying from personal to merely altruistic. Firstly, for me EYP is full of wonderful opportunities for self development and growth, both personal and professional. And not only being a Secretary is one of them, but also an amazing opportunity to find more. I also strongly believe that it would be a great waste of potential, energy and time not to apply for this position, as it may help to improve and develop relevant skills and to expand the acquaintance circle. Secondly, just like any other EYPer, I wish I could help the organization “to live long and prosper” by stimulating cooperation with other organizations, improving the existing approaches and practices and enhancing the general reputation of EYP-UA. Eventually, these goals seem possible to be fulfilled by being “the first point of contact” and properly executing other tasks assigned. Finally, I would be proud to spend a year with a wonderful team and be the part of the process of further improvement and growth of EYP-UA.

26

Secretary Programme statement For me the key goals are: 1. Development of ways of distant work for the Board. 2. Promoting stronger cooperation between the Departments. 3. Changing the notification system of the EYP. 1. I see improvement of the distant work facilities used by EYP-UA as an important task, taking into account the situation within the organization, which consists of 2 main issues. Firstly, EYPUA is predominantly Kyiv-based, so that involvement of the members from other regions in the Board activities is, let’s be honest, close to non-existent, leaving behind a large group of bright minds. Secondly, majority of EYPers being quite a mobile group, they abstain from further involvement into the activities of the National Committee due to failure to be constantly present in person. To tackle this kind of brain-drain situation I see introduction of alternative ways of cooperation as the most viable solution. 2. With most of the job done within a Department, we face the lack of integrity, which has a negative impact on efficiency. Furthermore, Department members normally end up being involved in a sole sphere for most of the time, not clearly seeing other spheres in which our organization functions and, subsequently, how to make their duties easier. Finally, the projects with overlapping competencies are easier to fulfill in cooperation with people active in the relevant spheres. 3. Currently most of EYP notifications are managed via email. However, with lots of additional information from partner organizations or notifications about other events, as well as due to sloppy email management by the majority, important information might end up in the “Unread folder. Being quite unimportant, this issue is hardly critical but with amount of shared information constantly increasing, systematization is likely to turn out to be useful in a long run.

Motivation EYP means a lot for me. It is a place where I can be really myself . EYP opened my eyes that Life can be as We want it to be. Everything is in Our hands. As Michael Jackson sang:“ I’m starting with the man in the mirror. I’m asking him to change his ways …” . Moreover, You do what you really love. Being a member of EYP-Ukraine is the easiest way to develop yourself in various spheres then share knowledge and skills with others.

Finance Department My first EYP session was in 2013(InterRail ) and since that time I realized that I will continue taking an active part there. Interesting knowledge, overwhelming people what is more? The more I get involve in EYP the more I want here: from a delegate to an Organizer, from just a Member of EYP to a Member of Leadership. Another key thing to remember is my first experience of Fundraising started on the InterRail 2015. Then it continued during National Selection Conference in Lutsk and as a result I became a member of Fundraising Department. This sphere reveals all my potential(skills and knowledge I have). I feel free to do every task in this Department: find and write Grants, create database of sponsors, make cold calls and talk to partners etc. I can do it 24 hours per day and will not be tired at all. As well as help is needed our Department feels free to give a hand! Let’s create the Future together!

Motivation Why EYP? Because people. Why people? Because exchange. Why exchange? Because development. Why development? Because life. As you can see EYP means the whole life for me in this sense. After attendance of some EYP events I have looked at EYP from the perspective of an exciting way of diverse self-development. I have met lots of smart and interesting people that had something to share, that were better than I am in some spheres and they showed me the level to which I want to reach now. What is interesting about EYP? It’s that this level goes higher and higher at that exact moment when you have reached the previous one. So, I would say that it is infinite way to the universe of self-development. Now I’m on my way. I try myself in the different roles that EYP can offer, I take something from each of them and I like it. I like to be diverse. I like to learn something new. I would like to accept a new challenge.

Programme statement

KEY YEAR GOALS & VISION: Bring PR of EYP – Ukraine to the new level through: - Improvement of external promotion of EYP – Ukraine; - Keeping the coverage of EYP – UA events at the high level; - Create the comfortable working environment withing the PR-Department. IMPROVEMENT OF EXTERNAL PROMOTION: 1. Updating the design of the official web-site as well as its content according to the Search Engine Optimization (SEO); 2. Moderating existing official EYP-UA profile in social networks using analytical instruments (Facebook Insight, Google Analytics tracker etc.) 3. Update the media-database as well as establish contacts with new external media-partners.

33

Public Relations Department COVERAGE OF EYP-UA EVENTS: 1. Providing every event with a photographer with DSLR camera to have high quility pictures; 2. Providing every event with a PR-coordinator from the Department; 3. Development of the self-explandatory action plan of PR-company of EYP-UA events; COMFORTABLE WORKING ENVIRONMENT: 1. Creating a photo-bank with photos from all past EYP-UA events (sessions, trainings, Happy Hours, etc.) 2. Updating and managing the storage of files with all of the promo-materials, press-releases, reports, samples, templates, manuals and booklets of EYP-UA; 3. Giving the access to the file storage to all the members of PR-Department. AIMED KEY INDICATORS: 1. reaching of 5 500 followers on Facebook and Vkontakte; 2. 10 new stable media-partners; 3. working and constantly updating photo-bank, storage of files and media-database.

Please outline here your plan on setting up your team and managing it: I see 4 main areas of focus in the PR-Department: • moderation of the official web-site; • moderation of existing organisation profiles on social networks (Vkontakte, Facebook); • PR-coordination of the EYP-UA events; • updating and managing the storage of files and media-database. I also truly believe that PR-Department of EYP-UA needs a photographer, video-editor and layout designer on the permanent base. So, what I would do is to open a call for those positions as well as for coordinators of every main area of focus. That in total counts like 4 + 3 = 7 people on a permanent base, working in the Department and maybe 3-4 new members who would try themselves in PR, responsible for small temporary tasks. Since I live in Kharkiv, I don’t mind to have a team from all over Ukrinae, because most probably we will have all of over Department meetings through Skype, but it is not too bad for PR-Department, because most of the tasks it is possible to accomplish online. I think that the most efficient way to keep you team motivated is to show the dedication with your own example as well as talk to them and make them actually feel how important it is what we are doing!

Jan 2015 - present HR department Interviews with new members, assisting them with membership procedure, maintaining members’ database, organising Happy Hours.

Human Resources Department Motivation When I became an official member of EYP – UA, I even did not think about performing at the EYP sessions. My first thought was about working in NGO. The reason might be in my previous experience in AIESEC, where I did not have an opportunity to express myself as during EYP session, but I did enjoy doing things to help the organisation to grow. Noting my previous background and my active participation in current activities, I feel experienced enough to contribute to the organisation as a Board Member. Since the beginning of 2015 I have got actively involved in the HR department. I have seen many great initiatives in the team but, unfortunately, only a few of them were implemented. In addition, I did not see HR department as a team. In the end, I realised one thing. The key to the success of such organisations as EYP is motivation. It is the only engine, which makes members be active. The process of keeping this motivation is very subtle, especially if the department should produce ideas and changes during the whole year. I consider department as not only the team of people, who helps Board Member to manage direction. The department is also a team, which helps its members to socialize within the organization, to get this motivation. Therefore, my main goal will be creating effective HR team, which will ensure the dynamic growth of the HR direction. I believe that improving this branch will make a proper basement for all the projects in EYP-UA.

Programme statement 1. Create an active HR team. 2. Improve the communication between the Board, Leadership and official members. 3. Provide proper guidelines for newcomers. 4. Increase outreach. 5. Professional growth of the members. 1. Create an active HR team. At the beginning of 2015, HR team, consisting of 5 active members was ready to work. However, at the end of the year only a few of them stayed active. This means that the strategy of leading the department should be changed. I would implement following steps: • the system of reporting via e-mail and Facebook group; • department meetings once per 2 weeks; • open the call for departments for half of the year and then gather the new team; • closer cooperation between Board Member and coordinators. 2. Improve the communication between the Board, Leadership and Official Members. I see this through making formal and informal meetings: 1.1.informal meetings. Happy Hours for all the members, including Leadership and Board Members. Their frequency will depend on the general timeline. Board Members can decide how often they should conduct department Happy Hours, but they should have at least one HH per quarter. 1.2. formal meetings. 1) Leadership meetings. As our timeline is divided into quarters and there are three of them, I would make Leadership meeting three times per year at the beginning of each quarter to consult the Board on the quarter goals.

37

Human Resources Department 2) Newcomers Weekends. The 1st Newcomers Weekend has shown that such events should correlate with other activities taking place in EYP – Ukraine. First, it is rational to organise such weekend before the elections to open the call for departments afterwards. Second, the weekend can take place after the National Selection Conference, when there are a lot of motivated new members. Third, Newcomers Weekend can be organised before huge projects, such as the InterRail Tour, to involve motivated people into them. 3) Alumni Weekends. I would change the concept of the Alumni Weekend into the type of training, where Alumni will share their experience about applying for sessions abroad, managing National Committee or other useful things. It will make the event more valuable. I would possess the participation as the benefit of active members. 3. Provide proper guidelines for newcomers. I would continue the initiative of creating “Get Started Guide” in cooperation with PR department. The guide consists all the essential information about EYP – Ukraine, which will be sent to the new official members. This is important for new members to have a basic understanding about the structure and activities of the organisation. I would also implement the personal approach to each person applying for membership in EYP – Ukraine. It means that HR department will make more precise analysis of application forms, find out during the interview which kind of activity the applicant want to choose (only, sessions, work in departments, organising project) and after becoming an official member, consult new members on which activity to choose. I would also develop the idea of cancelling ongoing membership, in order to make newcomers adaptation qualitative. 4. Increase outreach. This goal literally means that every year we should expand the network of EYP – Ukraine. I suggest three directions of extension: • encouraging active EYPers in regions to conduct Happy Hours. It will help to create the platform for making Regional Boards in the future. Other possible activities in regions should be discussed with RD department. • evolving “EYP for tea” project. There are alumni, eager to conduct training. HR department is able to deal with updating database and coordinating training. • improving connections with Alumni to make them more involved in EYP activities. HR department should update Alumni database and send reports concerning EYP activities every quarter. 5. Professional growth of the members. Members of the departments and the organising team should understand the value of being on their position. That is why it is important to launch more training or other unique opportunities for members of the departments and members of the leadership. It might be different training on Fundraising, Chairs’ training or “How to write the application” training. It will create the incentive for newcomers to be active in the NC.

38

Human Resources Department Please outline here your plan on setting up your team and managing it: 1. I plan to have 10 people in my department. The subdivision within the department will be following: 1)Membership coordinator; 2)Leadership coordinator; 3)Alumni coordinator; Each coordinator will have 2 members in the subdepartment. 2. The key task is to improve the communication between subdepartments’ directions, because they are intertwined. For instance, some of the official members become active, they should be added to Leadership, another member need the recommendation from the Alumni. All these processes are supervised by HR department. 3. Department meetings will be held once per two weeks. Meetings with coordinators and secretary will be more often if it will be needed. Each member will share the updates concerning his/her activity and we will hold discussions regarding the development of the HR direction in EYP – UA. 4. I plan to keep members’ motivation through sharing experience during Happy Hours, sharing opportunities and all the initiatives through Facebook group and other rewarding things, such as training, discussion clubs.

Period Department/Council/Working Group Main Responsibilities

03.2015 - now Deputy Head of Department on Regional Development Helping hand of Board Member on RD, regional boards strategy development

Minutes of the Board Meetings, helping hand of the President, routine tasks.

Motivation To become a Board Member means to take big responsibility. Today you are responsible for what you are personally doing in EYP, tomorrow you are responsible for a department. Moreover, being RD Board Member means to be responsible for fresh EYP faces and the future of EYP-Ukraine in general. In most cases my biggest motivation are people, decent people. Regional Development is all about the people and for people, so you may where my desire is coming from. I do not want to possess and my aim is not to be severe and control people inside of the Department. I want to make them enjoy the work and get a powerful energetic feedback from satisfied participants. I want to give and to be given.

Programme statement On my way I have 3 big aims to achieve: 1) Regional boards 2) At least 3 EYP-Weekends and 1 regional session 3) Implementation of EYP day concept in EYP-UA

42

1- To finish the development of Regional Boards statute. Start with at least 2 Regional Centers and make them be implemented until May. Elections of Regional Boards to be held in June. Since July 1st – Regional Boards start begin brainstorming ideas, start their work on local projects, communication The Board Member has to fully support the Regional Boards presidents and install communication with them. Additionally, one of the members of the department will be responsible for the up-dates of regional centers to the Board Member. To open call for bids for regional sessions 2 times per year. 2- 2 events planned already – Weekend in March and Regionals in Autumn. To hold at least 2 EYPWeekends and 1 Regionals(optional) more.

Regional Development Department 3- To develop the concept of EYP-day consulting with other National Committees as EYP-Austria. To implement EYP day during January-March. Depending on NSC and Regionals – to start holding EYPDays through regions(start with Kyiv), as promotion event before bigger ones. + to hold Regional Development weekend gathering either/both potential head-organisers of EYPWeekends or/and Regionals or Regional Boards aiming to hold trainigs on RD. + to install the system of cooperation between RD Department and other EYP-UA’s departments. E.g. with PR – online-promotion of Regionals, EYP-Weekends, support of the events in regions with EYP presentations. + to support existing initiatives of RD department.

Please outline here your plan on setting up your team and managing it: With a current situation in the department, I may say that everything is done by the Board Member himself. My task would be to: - Select 3-6 people as members of the Department and helping hands of the Board Member - To divide between them the following tasks: EYP-day management, Regional boards(committees) cooperation, on session help(during EYP Weekends and regional sessions) – 2 people responsible for each task; - Department meetings should happen often(1 time per 2 weeks) aiming communicational support, be productive – an in-department synchronization to be installed; - The motivation is high if you have a good manager which is on the same level of communication with you, if he supports you, if he is involved in what is going on, if he motivates his department fellows.

44

Regional Development Department Programme statement Vision: Next EYP-generation need to transform quantity to quality, improve management system by learning and implementation of best practices, involve current members and alumni for future strategy development and consolidate for realisation. I think that the main value of every organization is based on integrability. That’s why I would like to see more different people from every city with their special ideas in EYP. Aims: To bring local EYP committees in regions: • Creation of decentralization management system; • Preparation and holding on local elections; • Cultivation of local committees (min 12); To develop transparent and effectiveness assessment system (further EAS); To provide a platform of communication between NGOs, socially responsible citizens and government institutions; • to create separate source for convinient communication; • to set up partnership relations with 10 members of G20 and involve them into platform development; To create and deliver a unitary standard of EAS for nonprofit organization and projects. To raise up G20 community.

January 2015 - present Member of International Activities Department / Delegations Support Team • Coordination of Ukrainian delegations going to the international events (supervising all their activities, from preparing documents for visa application to academic preparation for the session); • Preparation of the information for “Going Abroad” Kit.

Motivation This November will be a year I am involved in EYP Ukraine. I would say that this year has given me a lot in terms of personal growth. I have made important decisions regarding my future path, in which the multicultural environment of EYP has played a great role. This organisation matter a lot to me and I want to make sure it matters a lot to others. Nowadays, Ukrainian youth, especially in regions, has not so many opportunities to be a part of such an environment, and the opportunities that EYP-UA provide to the youth are unique, both in personal development and non-formal education. I believe that my experience as well as personal qualities can serve as a good contribution to EYP Ukraine’s further development. I see the International Activities department as a helpful hand, being a guide to the achievement of international experience, both abroad and at home and I want to contribute to its growth as much as possible. Today International Activities department lacks proper coordination and adequate management system it merits. Being part of the IA department let me gain a great insight on the department’s activities and made me develop an approach that will lead to positive changes. Moreover, I have a working experience, participated in EYP events abroad in different roles and currently head-organise the InterRail Tour of EYP Ukraine. Therefore, I am sure that I possess the relevant knowledge, together with leadership and

48

International Activities Department management skills, to lead the IA Department and to develop an effectively working mechanism, ready to further develop in future. I am determined to make IA department better and strengthen the solid image of EYP Ukraine on the international arena. Of course, it will be a challenge, but I believe that we can grow only while overcoming challenges. EYP have changed my life once. Now my desire is to help to change someone’s life. And I think that as a board member on International Activities I will do this.

Programme statement I believe that a lot of initiatives launched previous years in the IA Department fit well in my vision for the future, complemented by new ones, ensuring the achievement of sustainable development within the department. Despite the belief that new is always better, I feel that the success of the department is shaped by the proper coordination, thoughtfully developed management system and the clear division of responsibilities. What I also want to improve is the reporting system: I will create a strong data base, with the informational part (guides for members, informational booklets) as well as a working reporting system (online update on activities conducted). So, the work of the department should be concentrated on such goals, as: Increasing the number of EYP Ukraine participants in the EYP events abroad The number of EYPers participating in EYP events is constantly rising annually, with the launch of the travel reimbursement initiative playing a great role in it. I believe that every person when joining EYP, bears in mind the desire to have an international experience. Taking into consideration that there are lots of other options for our members to participate in the EYP events abroad besides IS, such as international forums and selection conferences of other NCs, my main aim as a Board Member is to ensure that as many EYP-Ukraine members as possible are able to have an opportunity to gain an international experience and use it wisely. To that purpose the work of the IA department will be focused on: • Providing timely information about opportunities abroad (via e-mail opportunities newsletter on the monthly basis or more often, depending on the number of opportunities); • Maintaining communication with other NCs on participation of Ukrainian delegations in their events; • Further cooperation with the Fundraising team on travel grants opportunities, timely provision of the information about the available reimbursement opportunities to the members being selected to participate in the foreign event, improving the system of distribution of travel grants; • Finalising the creation of the “Going Abroad” Kit with all the information needed to understand - what it means to participate in an EYP event abroad and what is required, together with detailed information on how to apply for a visa and other peculiarities (to be sent out with every newsletter on availability to join the Ukrainian delegation abroad); • Assigning the member of Delegations Support team to every Ukrainian delegation going abroad, coordinating the preparation process beforehand, and providing support with visa issues, information, execution of the tasks for the session etc. There will be a timeline created for each event, with all the tasks to be performed by the members of the delegation (such as filling in the forms, getting a visa, buying tickets, specific tasks from the organising committee of the session etc.), execution of which will be supervised by the Delegations support team; • Creating the booklet for parents in English and Ukrainian in cooperation with the HR department, with the basic information about what is EYP, what can the participation in EYP events give to their children in terms of personal development, how the process of participation in the event abroad is executed (what support we provide from our side); creation of the booklet providing the general information regarding what is EYP International, the Governing Body, the BNC, their respective functions, in order to improve the members’ knowledge about international NGOs. • Providing all the necessary information regarding going abroad details to the parents via phone/Skype,

49

International Activities Department if requested; • Introducing a reporting system for the delegations of EYP Ukraine going abroad (on execution of the timeline tasks beforehand and summary of the Ukrainian participation in the events afterwards); • Creating of “How it was?” newsletter to be sent out via mail and published in Social Media, with the impressions of the participants about the event they have participated in (summary of the event, memories, pictures, what they have gained from the event); reporting about the events abroad; • Strengthening cooperation with PR department. Qualitative representation of EYP Ukraine on the international arena Together with the aim to ensure that the Ukrainians are able to participate in foreign EYP events goes the qualitative approach: aim to ensure, that Ukraine is represented abroad on a high level. That refers to both Ukrainian delegations going abroad and the quality of the events held in Ukraine. To achieve this, the work of the department will be focused on the following tasks: • Keeping the high quality of the academic preparation of the Ukrainian members going abroad by providing online trainings beforehand (the EU structure and functions, tips on making speeches), having a control system (as having an online test to be passed afterwards), creation of various informational booklets (executed by the Academic Advisory team); • Cooperation with the HR department on conducting the Chairs’ trainings as well as Journalists’ ones at least twice a year (adapting to the schedule of EYP-UA events as well), inviting the foreign trainers, if possible Providing the information to the members about the opportunities to attend trainings abroad; • Maintaining communication with the foreign NCs on the opportunities to participate in EYP-UA events together with the supervision of such events; • Informational support of Ukrainian teachers going to the EYP events abroad; • High quality representation of Ukraine in BNCs and interaction with the EYP International; Personal development of the EYP Members with regard to the existing opportunities abroad I believe, that EYP is also a great place for the networking amongst young professionals, in an international scope as well. That is why I believe that together with focus on international events and the representation of EYP-UA there the work should be also held in such spheres, as: • Conducting master-classes from experienced EYPers on their personal experience of applying to the university abroad, receiving the grant, participation in different study programs, passing of international tests (GMAT, IELTS etc.) • Informing members about different study and internship programs abroad (via e-mail, as a part of the opportunities letter); • Providing information about the EYP International Activities (BNC news). Key indicators: • 80+ trips made by members of EYP-Ukraine within a year • At least 8 academic trainings conducted • At least 8 Ukrainian delegations sent to international events

50

International Activities Department Please outline here your plan on setting up your team and managing it: In terms of future team I will focus on quality, not quantity, as I believe that highly motivated, but limited number of people can make up more effective team, than a huge, but not motivated one. However, my aim is to involve both experienced EYPers and new ones, in order to provide the exchange of the experience between the generations. I will keep the division of the department into three teams: - Academic Advisory team (1 Team Leader, 3 members) Responsible for the academic support of the members (advising on research, conducting trainings and controlling the aftermath), creation of the informational academic booklets. Each of the members should be capable to conduct relevant training by him/herself. - Delegations Support team (1 Team Leader, 3-4 members). Members will be assigned to the delegations going abroad, responsible for supervision of their preparation process (academic, specific, documentary etc.), creation of the informational booklets, supervision of teachers and reporting afterwards; - Communication team (1 Team Leader, 3-4 Members) The main responsibilities of the team will include: • Monitoring of upcoming events (both EYP and non-EYP, creation of the newsletter) • Holding a database of the EYP members participating in the events abroad; • Updating the information regarding BNCs news. • Organising the abovementioned trainings. The coordination of the teams will be maintained both by team leaders and the board member, with a team leader performing the supportive function (sharing the experience, coming up with new initiatives, providing informational support to the team members). I believe that Skype meetings of the department are not that effective in terms of team work and team development. That is why I believe that the Department meetings should take place in life, as it is the best way to keep motivation of the teams. I want to conduct at least 2 weekend trainings: one in the beginning of the year, with the division of the roles and general training on the activities performed by the department, next - in May-June. This weekends will serve as a teambuilding for the department. Also I want to hold informal happy hours every two months, where the members of the team will be able to share their experience, as well as get to know each other. By this means I want to avoid the situation when the department members don’t know who is in their team, and whom they should approach if they have a question. The reporting on the activities should be done in the online format and be available to all members of the department, holding Skype meetings if needed.

International Activities Department Period Department/Council/Working Group Main Responsibilities

2015 Board Member on International Activities Shared the information about the opportunities for members to participate in international conferences/trainings etc.; Interacted with the BNC (the Board of National Committees) and the EYP International office; Coordinated Ukrainian delegations going to International sessions and other EYP events; Maintained communication with other NCs about incoming delegations to Ukrainian EYP events.

Motivation I believe that IA Department made a huge step forward this year. We re-established the whole department system; breathe a new life into Academic Advisory Team that made a huge contribution in the preparation of delegations going to ISs and IFs, increased the number of Ukrainian travelling abroad and many other things that have a direct influence on the development of IA Department. Though it is not the point where one should stop. In order to live a prosperous life one should constantly grow and develop. And IA Department is not an exception. One of the problems that we faced with while encouraging our members to attend sessions abroad is the lack of necessary information required for both parents as our target audience is 17-19 years old youth and youth itself. There is always a definite percentage of fear of going to unknown country without a proper support. Even though we made it possible to ensure that our delegates get all the necessary information on time we still need to work more on the active promotion of such a unique possibilities as meeting new people, getting to know other cultures, debating and learning and other things that one could learn at such events. Moreover, I believe that the experience I’ve gained would be in a great help for our further work. I already have many interesting things planned for the next year. There are still so many things that I want to try out and improve. And the bright eyes of delegates that successfully participate in the sessions abroad in my motivation to keep on doing the work I do.

53

International Activities Department Programme statement In my programme I would like to focus on two main directions: to bring EYP-UA on a new level among other national committees, meaning to make it more attractive for the foreign participants and to encourage Ukrainians to participate in the sessions abroad. At the same time the successful experience of previous Board members of this department will be included. Regarding the first direction of bringing Ukraine to a new level: • Keeping on the delegation’s preparation for the International events including both the high quality of academic preparation and proper follow-ups on delegations experience and general representation of the National Committee; • Creation of strong delegations’ support system that will deal with all travel matters including visa issues, logistics, opportunities abroad and FAQ guides; • Developing a proper and consistent PR campaign of the events abroad and in Ukraine; • Promoting active participation of Ukrainians abroad; • Further helping delegates to become good motivation and application writers; • Maintaining relations with other NCs to increase the number of Ukrainian delegations going abroad; • Ensuring the positive image of Ukrainian National Committee on the International level; • Establishing cooperation with other international organisations. And, the second direction regarding other NCs involvement in EYP-UA events: • Interaction with the other National Committees and EYP International Office regarding the possibilities for Ukrainians abroad; • Maintaining communication with other NCs about incoming delegations as well as individual delegates to EYP-UA events; • Keep the information regarding the flow of Ukrainians to other events and foreigners to Ukrainian ones; • To keep the consistency of the representation of EYP-UA at BNC meeting and effectively contribute to the development of both EYP-UA and EYP International.

54

International Activities Department Please outline here your plan on setting up your team and managing it: This year I want to organise more efficient work of the department. The IA Department consist of 5 teams with different tasks and responsibilities. Those are Delegation Support, Academic Advisory, Selection&Publishing, Teachers and Special Helping Team. Each of these teams would consist of 5 members (with the possibility of extension). So that in total we would have 25 bright Ukrainians that will do their best to insure the efficient work of IA Department. Each team would be guided by an experienced team leader that preferably was a part of the respective team in a previous year. The main tasks of each Team: Delegation Support Team would concentrate on the preparation of the delegations going abroad and assisting them in all matters. Academic Advisory Team would be responsible for planning the training on EU Institutions and Public Speaking and assisting delegates in their academic preparations for the International events. Selection&Publishing would concentrate on the monthly update on the evens that take place in different countries as well as select the best delegates to represent EYP-UA on the International level. Teachers Team would closely cooperate with HR Department and would aim at the involvement of teachers into EYP activities and their participation at International Sessions. Special Helping Team would concentrate on the temporary tasks that department may have and assist other teams whenever they need. The number of meetings would depend on the International events and therefore will be focused on the preparation of Ukrainian delegations and updates on the functioning of the whole department.

International Activities Department Period Department/Council/Working Group Main Responsibilities

Feb 2014 - Sept 2015 Understanding Europe

Period Department/Council/Working Group Main Responsibilities

Since June’15 Human Resources

National coordinator of the project: International cooperation with the EYP Office; Management of the Core & Trainers’ teams in UA regions.

Alumni coordinator: Organisation of the Alumni Weekend; Communications with EYPUA Alumni.

Motivation We all drastically grow in our surroundings demanding for personal growth and development within an organisation. Having been a member of the Leadership of EYP-Ukraine for two years now, I have experienced various roles in the indirect management of the organisation. For past two years I have had a privilege to represent the Understanding Europe project on behalf of EYP-Ukraine on the international level which gave me insight on the way EYP International functions. Last month I took part in the Training and Alumni Council meeting which proved the fact that knowledge-sharing on the international level among all NCs is possible, and I am able to support my NC on this matter. Apart from abovementioned things, I am a huge fan of a holistic approach. To begin with, all the work in the organisation is more or less divided among departments. However, when one starts to actively attract people reaching great numbers, the responsibility of the other one is to offer them benefits of being involved even more. In this case, I have to admit that I have gone through this cycle as well. While being engaged in the activities of EYP-Ukraine here, in Kyiv, I have been offered lots of travel opportunities throughout Europe which constantly lead to the most desirable advantage in the EYP network – cross-cultural communication. Secondly, today I feel grateful for everything I have obtained while representing EYP-UA abroad, and as the saying goes, we are responsible for what we have tamed which in my case is the image of EYP-Ukraine. Managing international affairs of the organisation shows the way how the brand is perceived on the international level. Bearing in mind that EYP-Ukraine is one of the well-developed NCs, this path enables me to act responsibly towards the knowledge-sharing process with other NCs as well as openly with our members while sharing other NCs experience. Finally, my aim is to see as many Ukrainian EYP-ers as possible who set high bar for themselves and gain sufficient experience, knowledge and skills abroad. They do not need to seek for these precious opportunities when we actually can offer it to them. All in all, running for the position of the Board Member on International Activities is quite a huge step in terms of my professional growth and personal development. However, I do recognise the overwhelming responsibility and all benefits of this chance which I can share with all members of EYP-Ukraine. And this is what makes me certain I am able to comprehend with my duties and perfectly perform as the Board Member.

57

International Activities Department Programme statement 2016: Go international! Bearing in mind the fact that cross-cultural communication is one of the benefits EYP-ers appreciate the most, I aim to give such an opportunity to Ukrainian EYP-ers, together with providing other National Committee’s members with a chance to get acquainted with Ukraine. During the upcoming year the IA department will mainly focus on high-quality presentations of EYP-Ukraine abroad and ensure the involvement of foreign participants in our activities are a matter of utmost balance. Also, our members definitely need encouragement for their future development in the organisation, which can be achieved through public promotion of selected individuals and with offers such as travel grants (for both, newcomers and experienced Alumni). By precise observance on the main approaches of other National Committees, we can also improve the image of EYP-UA by inviting teachers to join our delegations abroad. Execution: 1. Delegations: - Maintaining communication with other National Committees concerning both, incoming delegations to our events and increase of Ukrainian participants on events abroad; - Delegation support system: visa issues, logistics and other travel matters, including the possibility of financial support (International Sessions’ delegations); - Holding online trainings for all delegations going to International Sessions and International Forums regarding both, academic and other types of events’ preparation; - Involving experts (either students with major in specific fields, or specialists) into the committee topic preparation process for International Sessions’ delegations as well as to invite them to join the Academic Council); - Holding online trainings on regarding European Union’s functions for delegates, who are going abroad for the first time; - Introducing the guide of EYP International to newcomers. 2. Positive image of EYP-UA: - Ensuring EYP-UA’s presence within EYP International network through participation in BNC meetings, various training events and EYP Councils; - Publishing the Opportunities Newsletter in the beginning of each month as well as introduce a special newsletter regarding updates from the BNC meetings (twice a year); - Developing the EYP-UA Abroad Project, where all the information regarding Ukrainian EYPers going abroad is available; - Creating EYP-UA mascot for all alumni going abroad. 3. Teachers: - Holding trainings for teachers before the National Selection Conference; - Ensuring the presence of chaperone on International Sessions. Success indicators: 1 training event for teachers, 60 members going abroad, 50 foreign EYPers coming to our events, 2 chaperones for upcoming ISs, 1 training event for department members.

58

International Activities Department Please outline here your plan on setting up your team and managing it: In the IA department the work flow will be divided as follows: - Delegation Support Group: supervising the whole delegation during their preparation, visa issues and travel arrangements, academic and special events preparation (4-5 people in general for one event + involvement of the Academic Council); - Information Support Group: finding the content for the Opportunities Newsletters, operating the information regarding upcoming calls among Ukrainian EYP-ers and selecting delegations for the events with the BM’s help (3-4 people); - Teachers Group: assisting with the preparation for the training event for teachers, working on the teachers network, communicating with teachers (2-3 people); - Academic Council: preparing the content for academic training events for delegations going abroad, holding training events (5 experienced EYPers + external participants). The number of people involved depends on the team and its skills. Department meetings will be held at least twice a year with some informal gatherings for better workflow within a team. Moreover, based on needs of the team, a training event for their professional growth will be conducted as well.

Motivation Four years ago when I joined EYP I could not even imagine that my life would change completely in a positive way. It became my second family, guide and helper in every single step I took. It broadened my outlook to the extent that everything is possible. Today I understand the EYP better than before, and this understanding allows me to make a decisive step forward and bring our organisation on a new level. We have already made a huge progress but there are still lots of thing to do. And this is the moment when we need to ensure stability and continuity by taking steps at every level of the organisation to retain knowledge and to build structures which will form a solid basement for the EYP-Ukraine to keep on developing year by year. Thus, I want to declare 2016 as a year of preserving the knowledge we gained. The next year I would like to focus on three main areas: realizing the organization’s full potential by strengthening its structures, making it more inclusive and establishing a culture of academic professionalism. In the field of stability and continuity, I would like to focus on three distinct areas: organisational continuity and stability, professionalism and administrative capacity and management skills. Measures should be taken to professionalize our events, offering a better experience to all participants and establishing the EYP as a youth-run organisation with a high level of credibility.

62

And keep track of department’s activities and progress and further motivate them towards creative ideas and initiatives. 10. Organise seasonal trainings for members to develop their soft skills.

63

President Please outline your vision on EYP-Ukraine Strategic Statement and your vision of EYP-Ukraine on the map of Ukrainian and European youth NGOs and civil society initiatives In 2016 I see EYP-Ukraine as a perfect learning platform that engages all its members in personal development through action and reflection, and we as a future board would do all possible to foster this development by providing them with both challenging opportunities and support. Through their participation in EYP, Ukrainians gain valuable skills, knowledge and confidence and become empowered to have an impact in society. EYP-Ukraine will become a place where they can have a chance to try out new things and discover all their hidden talents, get the possibility to hear and to be heard, to express their ideas freely and shape the future outlook. And in order to achieve this, EYPUkraine would focus on building of flexible and responsive organisational structure based on the best practices of previous years. EYP-Ukraine will come out on a new level and will be recognized among other organisation on both national and international level. It keeps on staying in touch with other Ukrainian NGOs and cooperates with them in different projects and initiatives. At the same time it will establish new cooperation with international organizations and try to involve more youth in organised events.

January 2015 - Present Member of International Activities Department / Academic Advisory Team • Training of all Ukrainian delegations going to any IS or IF in regards to European Union and Public Speaking; • Supervision of Academic Advisory Team • Preparation of EU and Public Speaking Booklet

Motivation I know and accept that living abroad is never a good idea for a Board Member and nonetheless for a President. However, I truly believe in the skills and values of my future fellow Board Members and have faith that my position will be of benefit to all. I strongly believe in a competent local team, and will find the best people help me achieve this goal, as well as the goals of EYP-Ukraine within the country. I have organised many things professionally in the past, and my experience in doing so, working for companies, successfully managing my time and University will propel me forward. The reasons why are clear: EYP-Ukraine has now become a part of me. In the last year, I’ve moved from being a virgin delegate to a competent Chair, to being actively involved with EYP-projects as well as organising projects for other NC’s. This time has shown me how EYP-Ukraine works, its strengths and its weaknesses, and being part of Leadership has given me a great insight into the organisation. Being one of the only non-Ukrainians amongst a group of skilled and bright Ukrainians, I feel how we learn from each other, and I see where I can truly be of value and use to EYP-Ukraine. I may be British, but my EYP heart is Ukrainian. As an NGO, EYP-Ukraine is often in the spotlight for international events. Considering its reputation as a very active NC, I believe that I can help boost its profile in the international sphere, and the Presidency is the way forward. Being older, and still new to EYP-Ukraine, I have a fresh and different perspective to how things both should and could be done, and I feel that my own qualities and skills can be of great benefit in running EYP Ukraine as a whole. Being such a unique part of EYP I see how this non-Ukrainian can represent EYP-Ukraine, as that is my family, and that is where I belong.

66

President

I would like to emphasise that from April 2016 (the Summer Semester) I will be more present in Ukraine as my research will take place there, and from July 2016 I will be moving back, and in constant connection

Programme statement Key Year Goals: Key Year Goals are here for me to strive for. With this I look to do my best at achieving the below, but understand that times can change, and as the organisation changes, what we set out to do at the beginning, might not be what we achieve at the end. However the path that we take is where we will learn the most. Goals: 1. Building on the success of the previous board to further consolidate and look for future partners on the National and International level. 2. Raise the status of EYP-Ukraine as a Professional institution amongst other NC. 3. Create an effective and streamlined procedure for innovative ideas and projects within the NC. 4. Further spread EYP-Ukraine to other isolated Ukrainian regions. 5. Look to set up workshops for delegates applying to Sessions on Application Writing. 6. Provide in house Orga and Chair trainings for aspiring EYPers. 7. Utilise Leadership to its full potential. 8. Look at Project Partnerships with other National Committees. 9. Continue supporting the involvement of Schools and Teachers in EYP-Ukraine. 10. Improve the efficiency of Board Members and implementing an online Task management software in order to ensure efficiency. 11. Proposing a Policy of which Board Members cannot be Head Organisers 12. Be the best President I can be and JUST DO IT! How am I going to do this? Let’s be serious, at the beginning a lot of this will happen via Google Hangouts and telephone calls, but there are ways to achieve everything. 1. Teambuilding weekend in Budapest to ensure the whole Board is at one with each other. 2. Work closely with each individual department, requesting an action plan at the beginning as well as a Weekly report on the department, through oral or written form that will be sent out to Leadership. 3. Help decentralise EYP presence, so that there is a strong regional cooperation between EYPUkraine and the Oblasts. 4. Help departments in their restructuring in order to ensure optimum efficiency and output. 5. Try to ensure the representation of EYP-Ukraine at 70% of International Events (Subject to funding). 6. Provide training for all HO’s so as to ensure high quality of events. 7. Seek to establish further network and connections with Companies and Organisations in Ukraine in order to allow the sponsorship potential for events/hosting.

67

President 8. Thank Ukrainian Crisis Media Centre for all of their help the past year, and look to continue a strong working relationship with them. 9. Bi-Monthly Board Meetings in order to address all matters at hand. 10. Use of online organisation software in order to effectively delegate and assign tasks and organise our EYP priorities. 11. Partner with 2 other NCs at an event, in order to raise the international possibilities within EYP Ukraine. 12. Attempt at building on the past work of the last Board and further move towards Partnerships between the Ukrainian Government, British Council and American House. 13. Push for full transparency of all meetings and discussions of EYP-Ukraine. 14. Work my hardest to make this the best NC there is. Key Indicators: These are the things that for me would mean a successful year as President 1. Successful International Partnership event. 2. Full transparency of all decisions made within EYP-Ukraine. 3. Partnerships with Universities allowing the continuation of the EYP Internship. 4. Re-election (I know I am thinking far ahead, but hey why not!)

Please outline here your plan on setting up your team and managing it: 2016 is the year of us. It is the year where EYP-Ukraine becomes the National Committee that everyone wants to be in or be involved with. Ukraine has been affected by challenges, challenges that have indeed scared people or intimidated them from coming to this great country. My vision is to fight fear. You are the youth of this nation, and you are the ones who will make the change. We have all been there, done an Ale-le on the street, been silly amongst strangers, and now we need to capitalise on that strength that we have together, and bring it to the whole country. Further implementation of regional projects, more delegates abroad, as well as more delegates from abroad coming to us. We need to show what we have been working for and what we have been fighting for. Ukraine has just voted for a new Parliament, and in the spirit of democracy we can build on the past, to create 2016 for us. My goal for EYP-Ukraine personally is to look at having it seen as a youth think tank within Ukraine. We discuss issues and are compiled of the brightest and best of tomorrow. We need to bring this to today, and show how we –the Ukrainian Youth- has answers and concerns about the problems that face the country. We need to have partnerships with other European youth NGOs and initiatives to help foster a better relationship between Ukraine and Europe. We need to plan how despite Ukraine not being in the European Union, the Youth and our initiatives are more than ever a European process. We need to foster Partnerships, showing how we are the young people who support all Youth endeavours.
