6th Training Camp
The 6th Training Camp of EYP — Ukraine is a unique educational event for young people from and out the EYP network. The event will be held in a beautiful city in the West of Ukraine — Lviv, between the 21th and the 25th of October, 2022. It will gather around 50 participants from all over Europe to learn and grow together. The training camp will take place in a hybrid format, allowing trainers to deliver their knowledge both digitally and offline. Participants have the opportunity to choose, select and leave modules as they wish, according to their own individual development preferences. Training camp is a non-formal educational project that encompasses several tracks on different topics. The tracks mainly focus on such topics as NGO Management and Active citizenship in Youth Organisations, Event Management, Media & PR, Mental Health and Social Psychology, Team Management. At the same time, within some tracks, participants will also be able to learn more about international cooperation, diplomacy and the EU institutions. The program of the training will be a strong foundation for future and current officials of EYP events. It will help every trainee to become more confident in EYP environment as an organiser, chairperson or media team the main training course, the participants will also take part in non-formal activities. Such events will help trainees to communicate and act more effectively in multicultural environment as well as get to know cultures of other European peers.
The Head Trainer will join the leadership of the project to work on the content and format of the event. We are looking for a person with good leadership skills. They will work closely with the Head Organiser on different aspects of the project. In decision-making, the Head Trainer and Head Organisers will have equal powers and freedoms. Furthermore, we will provide you with all the needed materials, as well as emotional support to make our cooperation smooth and friendly.
The Head Trainer
The main responsibilities of the Head Trainer include: recruitment of the trainers team along with the organising team of the event and the Board of EYP Ukraine; development of a concept and further coordination of the training for officials, one day prior to the event; development of a concept and further supervision of the training schedule and coordinating the work within the trainers team, enabling close cooperation between different trainers; close cooperation with the organising team and the representative of the Board of EYP Ukraine for any practical matters; facilitating a selective amount of training modules.

What is your main motivation to apply for 6th Training Camp of EYP Ukraine? How do you envision cooperation in a team lead by you? What factors of learning environment should we consider to deliver the best learning experience for trainees? Having in mind the hybrid format of the event, how can you ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing between trainees and trainers? The Selection Panel will consist of the Board of EYP Ukraine as well as the Head-Organisers. The Selection Panel reserves the right to contact applicants during the selection process in order to ask questions or discuss the application. The deadline for the application is the 18th of September.
