Jesus was born from Mary, in circa 4-6 CE. Mary is believed to be born without sin, and to be impregnated by God, because she was still a virgin. Joseph and Mary were ordered to go to Bethlehem by King Herod, for a census. There were no open places in any inns, so Joseph found a barn for them to sleep in. Baby Jesus was born in a manger filled with hay in the barn in Bethlehem. Since Mary was a virgin, she thought that it was impossible to have a child, so they figured that Jesus was the child of God. While really, they mistranslated that they would have a son named Emanuel, but they thought that it said *“Imanu El”, which means “God is with us”. Also, they thought that *“almah” was *“betulah,” while *“almah” means “young girl”, and *“betulah” means virgin. *Disclaimer: this is a transliteration of a Hebrew word

Jesus Preaching’s Jesus was baptized in 30 CE, and started traveling all around and preaching his beliefs. Jesus had 3 years of teachings. Jesus also chose 12 apostles to help him spread his religion.

Jesus’ second year of ministry was also known as his year of popularity. This is the year that he gained most of his followers, and traveled again, around Galilee but expanding a little more, going to people’s houses and telling them that their beliefs and that they should join Jesus and help spread Christianity even

Jesus’ third year of preaching was not one of his best years for gaining followers. Religious and government leaders were becoming increasingly antagonistic and they didn’t like Jesus. Also, one of his closest apostles, Judas Iscariot, was paid 30 coins to betray Jesus, and was one of the causes for his crucifixion.
