01 - Santport Spring 2017, Marc Prosman Architecture
Located in Santpoort in a very green neighborhood, the goal of this extension was to release the beauty of the nature and merge it into the building. With different elements such as a new glass facade outlined by a natural wood cladding. The value of this new space gives an over view to the garden (South-West) and therefor create an interactivity with the outside.

ZUID BOOT
NOORD BOOT
The program of the zuid boot is devided in two floor, the first floor is composed of kitchen, livingroom, dinning room and a terrace. On the lower floor, a master bedroom and guest bedroom both with them own bathroom, also a music/office space and a laundry room.
The Noord boot is organized differently due to its largest size. It is compose of two floor, integrating a master bedroom of 40 m2 on both floor with an internal void. The other rooms include quality space such as a sauna or cinema room.
03 - Zamenhof dock Fall 2016, Amsterdam, Academy project After the immense changes in Amsterdam Noord during the 20th century, the area remained to be an industrial zone. We are now entering into a new ERA for this part of Amsterdam. It is a new opportunity to extend the city towards the north and therefore participate to the passive evolution of the city.
THE BARS/CAFE The metal structure provides a great value underneath, for drinks, snack .. and more
TRAFFIC AREA The pathways are enough wide (6m) to host a bicycle lane and a pedestrian zone.
LEISURE The hill created unique space, for sitting, playing, climbing, hiking,

The architectural idea for the area of Sonderbrage is to keep the shape of a simple building. No extravagance for an easy construction for an easy place to live. The project took part of an interesting issue, how those buildings could match in a surrounding as old Danish buildings of 4 storeys. To solve this context, we act into two cases, one is to permit to the future inhabitant a cheap monthly rent and
Matching the cheap and modern was the topic. The surrounding is mainly composed of flats, some shops and one church located next to the project. In order to keep a similar look with the neighborhood, the idea is to build 4 storeys high house to get more sunlight. We can divided 48 apartments into 6 blocks by 4 floors in each of buildings.

CONCEPT Giving a meaning to the courtyard for the summer was first creating a space where people can meet, enjoy the weather for an event, play and share together. The goal was to provide an experience where the users can play with the lightness of the structure to create space in a minimum of time. The cardboard temple was designed as a result of the courtyard grid from its bay window. The structure reproduces the rythme of the courtyard facade and gives a clear visibility and create a meeting spot. therefor the pavilion is not an obstacle but a part of its surrounding.
PROGRAMS The speed of the pavilion is directly related to the fast montage of the structure, but not only. By creating a cardboard tubes pattern on the floor it is therefore possible to add/remove tubes of different dimensions. The flexibility of this programme gives infinity in the floor plan. It is now possible to install a temporary tribune and have a lecture or place table for a workshop or leave the imagination of the users to create their own spaces.

HANGING STEEL STRUCTURE The length of the longest span required steel beams in order to coop with the loads of the building. The purpose of using hanging steel studs was to keep the thin thickness of the floor and give a light aspect from the outside as it was flying above the ground floor. Through its slenderness, the buildings are composed of 4 boxes according to their location it creates different atmosphere provided by the trees the water or the market.
