Ferretti Launches DeFence Division

The Ferretti Group recently launched a brand-new division. Ferretti Security and Defence (FSD) will focus on designing, developing and producing high-tech naval platforms with specifications intended for the security, patrol and defence of coastline and international and territorial waters.

FSD benefits from the considerable production capacity of Ferretti Group’s 6 boatyards, as well as the superior technology and quality. These solid foundations put them in an ideal position to build vessels in steel, aluminium and composite materials specifically designed for applications such as Search and Rescue or Patrol, Surveillance, Anticrime and Antiterrorism operations.

The first “Fast Patrol Vessel” built by Ferretti Security and Defence is a high performance, 20m vessel capable of speeds in excess of 50 knots and a range of over 400 miles.
