After a hectic week we sought refuge at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Doha where we became an honorary Lady Blu member

As I took off my stilettos and sank my toes into the plush carpets that adorned my accommodation I welcomed the peace that started to flow over me. I’d been checked into a stylishly fitted room on the ladies-only floor, with a king-sized bed to rival others, that I just had to jump on at first glance. I momentarily stopped in my tracks as there was an array of goodies awaiting my attention. A complimentary maroon coloured satin kimono, a t-shirt and a cute teddy bear wearing a little red t-shirt only accelerated the warm welcome that is apparent throughout the bones of customer service at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Doha.

As I unpacked by clothes and hung-up my dresses I noticed that I’d forgotten to pack my razor, but alas, there was no need to panic as a quick phone call to housekeeping sharp rectified the situation. You have the option of enjoying either a shower or a bath in their spacious bathroom. The comfortable room is furnished with an easy chair, coffee table and mini bar. I took full advantage of the tea and coffee provisions, when I coveted a freshly brewed beverage in the comfort of my room as I silenced the constant ping of emails. They had High-speed, wireless Internet access and stay connected with what matters most Looking out of my floor-to-ceiling windows the skyline dazzled and danced with the moonlight. You can select from a choice of pillows from their menu which is designed to cater to your needs allowing for the perfect backdrop to allow for a coveted nights sleep. Sweet dreams guaranteed!
