WELCOME

F R O M T H E H O N O RA R Y C H A I R

I

t is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 36th annual SAN FRANCISCO FALL ART & ANTIQUES SHOW Benefiting Enterprise for Youth. The Fall Art &

Antiques Show is unique in what it brings to San Francisco, and the anticipation of what will line the aisles of the Show is in the air long before it opens. This year’s theme, Flower Power: Floral Imagery in Art, Antiques & Design is a favorite of mine. Next to fashion and art, flowers are my great passion, in life and in work. Floral themes are recurrent in almost all my collections, and every week I make sure to have fresh seasonal flowers all around my home... I LOVE FLOWERS!!! Floral imagery is prevalent throughout all genres and mediums of art and antiques; you will see it when you first enter the Show and are greeted by the Designer Vignettes, which take us through the four seasons, each focusing on the meaning of flowers throughout the year; and you will experience it as you walk the Show floor, talk with the Exhibitors, and see what gems they have brought from around the world. You can experience something different every day of the Show. The Lecture Series, Cocktail Hour Talks, and incredible art and antiques around every corner fill each day with opportunities to learn, explore, and shop. Welcome to the 2017 Fall Art & Antiques Show! Best wishes,

Andrew Gn

GREETINGS FROM ENTERPRISE FOR YOUTH

2017

marks the 36th year of The San Francisco Fall Art & Antiques Show, and the 48th year of Enterprise for Youth. This year I was

invited by the Board to lead Enterprise into its half-century anniversary, and I am deeply honored to have this new role. Growing up in San Francisco, I watched my brother and my cousins find their first jobs through Enterprise. (It turned out my husband-to-be did too.) Later, as a young teacher in our city, I continued to follow Glady Thacher's efforts, amazed at the immense impact one person can have on a community. I couldn't be more thrilled to now be leading one of the organizations Glady so lovingly founded many years ago. She started Enterprise in her living room, armed with a set of index cards and a deep belief in young people. This past summer, I had the wonderful experience of having lunch with Glady. She told me that her method of igniting organizations was to gather brilliant people in her aforementioned living room, share her most recent inspirations, and then see what would stick. Fortuntely for us, many of her ideas did just that. Enterprise is dedicated to providing job placements and training for young people in our beautiful city. Our blessings are not distributed evenly, and Enterprise is able to close that gap by offering young people, at a very important moment in their lives, training, their first internship job, and a meaningful mentorship. We send interns to Gap, First Republic, Wells Fargo, City Hall, IDEO, and many other businesses, and nurture them with the wisdom of a mentor and the capable and committed staff at Enterprise. They are set up to succeed. Years later, alumni tell us our programs changed their lives. I hope you enjoy the Show and, as you venture back into your own everyday life, I hope you consider deepening your commitment to Enterprise by becoming a mentor or an ongoing donor. Sincerely,

NĂnive Calegari, Enterprise for Youth

ADOLPHUS “DOLPH” ANDREWS 1922 - 2017 Remembering a great supporter of The Fall Art & Antiques Show “It seems impossible for me to even imagine San Francisco without Dolph Andrews. We first met when I was in my midtwenties...at the time, Emmy and Dolph never missed their treasure hunt to Paris. We shared the same unexplainable attraction for the rare object, and I remember my father always keeping for them some special treasure. It was a pleasure to see their mutual enthusiasm. Dolph invited us to visit them in San Francisco and we made a point of coming at least once a year to exhibit at the Fall Antiques Show. As all good things in life, once you start you don’t stop. I was invited by Emmy and Dolph to stay at their home during my visits and I will always be grateful to them for sharing San Francisco with us. Not only was he one of the most elegant men I ever met, Dolph impressed me so much as a man of conviction and strength; he had a wonderful way of making you agree to anything. Dolph’s absence at the Show this year will be indescribable for me when, for the first time ever, I will not see him coming down the aisle, making it a point of honor to be the first one to come over and give us his support. To me that will always be Dolph! “ - Benjamin Steinitz “Dolph Andrews was a phenomenal leader as my co-chair of The European Decorative Arts Council and a dedicated supporter of The San Francisco Fall Art & Antiques Show. Dolph, and his wife Emmy were integral to the Show for many years as benefactors, hosting their legendary parties and much more. He was a consummate collector who always cared deeply about the decorative arts and San Francisco’s Fine Arts Museums. He was forever a gentleman, ever gracious and never without an encouraging word. The Fall Art & Antiques Show has lost a grand patron, a true connoisseur, and a friend. I will miss him and the special role he played in highlighting the importance of the decorative arts both on a personal level and for our greater audiences.” - Lindsay Joost, Chair of the European Decorative Arts Council “I had the pleasure of working with Dolph Andrews for 13 years. I spoke to him almost every day planning strategies and programs for The European Decorative Arts Council, of which he was co-chair, and making plans for future acquisitions for The Legion of Honor. His most important contribution was to the Salon Doré, which could not have happened without him. He was an advocate from the outset and spent some four years giving splendid dinners at his beautiful home to encourage people to give. Dolph’s passion for collecting and the decorative arts was reflected every year at The San Francisco Fall Art & Antiques Show. He was a tireless benefactor from its inception in 1981, always in search of the next piece, and would give the most spectacular dinners in support of the Show and the dealers. I feel we have all lost a friend and mentor.“ - Martin Chapman, Curator in Charge, European Decorative Arts and Sculpture, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco “Some of the most cherished memories I have from my 45 years in antiques were the visits of Dolph and his good friend Bill Blass to our gallery. It is hard to imagine two more stylish individuals, both so beautifully attired and bantering with each other with rapier wit and humor. Dolph had the rare ability to quickly spot the special quality of what made an item great. His observations on our pieces often formed part of the research and narrative of our catalog entries and descriptions. Over the decades, Dolph became a great friend, supporter of our business, and indeed it was he who kindly invited us to participate in The San Francisco Fall Art & Antiques Show ten years ago. I cannot say how grateful we are; having been an exhibitor in all the major international antiques shows, San Francisco is and remains the one we enjoy the best. Our industry has lost a truly brilliant supporter, but above all, it is as a personal friend that I will miss him most.” – Carlton Hobbs 35

We could not have a better partner than de Gournay to help showcase our Designer Vignettes this year. Their wallpapers featuring flora and fauna are a signature for them and each design they produce is a work of art. We are thrilled to be working with four incredibly talented designers for our vignettes titled “The Four Seasons.” We invited each to create a room inspired by the flowers of one of the seasons. The designers worked with de Gournay to create custom wallpaper for their vignettes. I asked each to share their vision for bringing their season to life…

ED WARD LOBRANO

My inspiration was a 1960’s Volkswagen Bus with flowers painted all over it celebrating the Summer of Love. I wanted a more sophisticated interpretation which I think de Gournay did so well; I wanted it to be elegant, yet whimsical and happy. I also had access to these wonderful little mirrors that looked like flowers made by Cristobal Morales that I thought were so appropriate to capture the feeling of that time and fill the booth. About Edward Lobrano: Edward Lobrano began his design career in Washington, D.C. with Anthony Childs Inc. At Anthony Childs, he was exposed to great style and an understanding of French furniture. “Secret Garden” transports you to a magical fall hideaway where maidens wander through fallen leaves, dressed head-to-toe in Valentino, and flowers swirl down from the ceiling. Silk metallic wallpaper by de Gournay creates a shimmering background for the scene. Hand-painted and embroidered with autumnal flowers, the luxury wallpaper vendor brings a bespoke touch to the space-whimsical petals blooming from the walls. The florals play off the Show’s Flower Power theme while introducing a multidimensional element to the space. Branches are suspended from the ceiling alongside a dramatic chandelier, creating an alluring combination of organic designs and glamorous touches. as a seat to a swing suspended from an imaginary tree, evokes the grand gardens of the Tuileries. A true escape that embodies the history and charm of antiques and nature, the “Secret Garden is a one-of-kind vignette for The San Francisco Fall Art & Antiques Show’s year of flowers. About Kendall Wilkinson: With over two decades of experience, Kendall Wilkinson has become one of the most highly regarded residential interior designers on the West Coast. Her passion for the industry burgeoned during a trip abroad in Paris where she became enamored with French architecture and antiques. Mastering the art of combining authenticity with contemporary design, Kendall has become one of the most sought-after designers for leaders in tech, finance, retail, and hospitality. Her collection for Fabricut, launched Spring 2016, features indoor/outdoor fabrics in a sophisticated mix of neutrals, bold colors, and innovative patterns.

The artist is the confidant of nature, flowers carry on dialogues with him through the graceful bending of their stems and the harmoniously tinted nuances of their blossoms. ~ Auguste Rodin As you walk the Show, notice the variety of floral imagery that pops up in every booth. You may notice it carved into the leg of an 18th-century table, or as a still life in an Impressionist painting. It may be repeated over and over in an antique rug, or appear in the pages of a book. Our Exhibitors come from around the globe with pieces from past to present, and the use of flora and fauna is frequent and widespread. Flowers bring us life, they bring us joy; they have a language all their own.

esigner and author Steven Stolman will speak candidly about his experiences as an accomplished host and accidental party planner. From his own home-style cocktail parties and dinners to grand galas and celebrations in glamorous places like Newport, Palm Beach, and the Hamptons, Stolman's self-deprecating humor and common sense good taste will delight and inspire all, from experienced hosts and sophisticated gourmands to those of us who don't know how to boil water. Designer, author, and observer of all things stylish, Steven Stolman was raised in West Hartford, Connecticut. A graduate of New York’s Parsons School of Design, he spent many years as a “worker bee” on Seventh Avenue before going out on his own with a collection of resort wear for men, women, and children. Sold from his eponymous shops in tony towns like Southampton, Nantucket, Beverly Hills, and Palm Beach, his simple, unique designs cut from decorative fabrics became a cult favorite among the smart set; they remain collectors’ items to this day.

at the helm of Scalamandre, Stolman stepped down to pen three more books for publisher Gibbs Smith, 40 Years of Fabulous: The Kips Bay Decorator Show House, Confessions of a Serial Entertainer, which details the basics of entertaining through the lens of Stolman’s own experiences and attempts to serve as a guide for those who wish to become accomplished hosts but just can't get over their fears, and his latest, The Serial Entertainer’s Passion for Parties, which focuses on his decades of experience as an accidental party planner, entertaining outside of the home on a large scale. A book signing of 40 Years of Fabulous: The Kips Bay Decorator Show House, Confessions of a Serial Entertainer, and The Serial Entertainer’s Passion for Parties (Gibbs Smith) will immediately follow the lecture in the Authors’ Alcove.

In 2011, Stolman was tapped to serve as president of Scalamandre, the renowned textiles house. During his tenure, he spearheaded an extraordinary brand expansion strategy that brought the Scalamandre name and its iconic motifs to distinctive collections of china and crystal, deluxe bedding, lighting, upholstered furniture, decorative accessories, and paper goods that continue to be sold worldwide. During his presidency, he also authored Scalamandre: Haute Décor, a sweeping, large-format coffee table book on the house’s storied past and revered position on today’s interior design scene. I N S P I RAT I O N A N D INFLUENCE IN I N T E RI O R D E S I G N Miles Redd Thursday, October 26 | 2:30 p.m.

M

iles Redd discusses inspiration and influence in interior design, giving insight into the decorator's eye and process. A Russian painting may serve as a palette for a room scheme, a ruffle on a couture ball gown becomes a detail on a curtain, and even other decorators' rooms may serve as a leapingoff point for his schemes. Redd firmly believes that all ideas are just a juxtaposition of another idea, and that if you borrow from many it is merely research. In his lecture, he examines many of the 18th, 19th and 20th century tastemakers who have influenced him, and how he has reinterpreted ideas to make them current and exciting for today's modern needs. Redd embarked on his interior design career with luminary antiques dealer John Rosselli and decorator

Bunny Williams. In 1998, he opened his own design firm in New York City. He is known for his unique aesthetic vision, which is characterized by a mélange of high and low, a strong sense of color, and a traditional approach with modern gestures. Redd finds inspiration in a wide array of venues. His trademark approach to design has brought to life rooms infused with boldness, wit, fantasy, and sophistication. In 2012, Redd published The Big Book of Chic. As reviewed by Vogue Living: “Captivated by chic from an early age, Redd has assembled a personal medley of images—a whitegloved hand poised to pluck a caviar toast, a 1940s princess in a froth of tulle and a Roman bust wearing a coolie hat-people, artists and places that inspire him. To those rich pickings, the decorator adds shots of his ‘party-ready’ interiors and quotes of a life less ordinary.” Redd served as the Creative Director of Oscar de la Renta Home from 2003 to 2013. His work has been featured in Vogue, W, House Beautiful, Elle Décor, Veranda, and Architectural Digest. Redd was most recently honored as one of Architectural Digest’s AD100 and has been on the list since 2012. He launched a line of fabrics and wallcoverings with Schumacher in 2015 and a line of carpets with Patterson Flynn Martin in 2016. A book signing of The Big Book of Chic (Assouline Publishing, 2012) will immediately follow the lecture in the Authors’ Alcove.

iguel Flores-Vianna journeyed through four continents to capture an extraordinary group of writers and editors, landscape designers, artists and artisans, art and antiques dealers and collectors, and interior designers where they live—country cottages, beach houses, city apartments, and a ranch, as well as assorted châteaux and palazzi. Some of the spaces are grand, others are modest, but all are original, stylish, charming, and above all authentic in the sense that they reveal their owners' care and taste. From artist Alessandro Twombly's idyllic farmhouse and studio in the Italian countryside to textile designer

Nathalie Farman-Farma's enchanting London house; from furniture designer and art dealer Osanna and Giangaleazzo Visconti di Modron's contemporary art- and design-filled Renaissance-era home in Milan to landscape designer Madison Cox's retreat and garden library overlooking the coast of Spain in Tangier; from World of Interiors founding editor Min Hogg's color-saturated hideaway on Gran Canaria to editor and tastemaker Marian McEvoy's cottage on the banks of the Hudson River—all twenty of the featured homes are, in Miguel Flores-Vianna’s own words, “magnificent repositories of diverse cultures and visions and beautiful descriptions of the geography of their owners’ lives.” Argentine-born Miguel Flores-Vianna is a photographer and a writer, and has been an editor for more than twenty years. His photography is regularly published in various American and European magazines. In 2013, he was one of the creators of “In the Air,” a popular-trend column in T Magazine. He lives in London. T

oday’s world of design is all about the mix, combining different styles, finishes, and periods from classicism to modernism, and bringing it all together to make your interiors sing with style and soul. Design world luminaries Ellie Cullman, David Phoenix, and Beth Webb join Show Chair Suzanne Tucker to discuss how they create a room with multiple personalities and prove how opposites can attract beautifully. ELLIE CULLMAN, the 2016 recipient of the New York School of Interior Design’s Albert Hadley Lifetime Achievement Award, founded Cullman & Kravis over 30 years ago. Known for layered, dynamic interiors, luxurious finishes, and exquisite details, C&K's work embraces a “modern traditional” aesthetic. This fresh approach is contemporary, yet respects the 30-year track record of the company’s passion for fine art and antiques. Cullman has consistently been included on the coveted AD100 list of the world’s best interior designers and architects since 2000. She was named one of Architectural Digest's Deans of American Design in 2005, and received the D&D's Star of Design Award in 2009. She has been designated a “Grand Master” by Elle Décor in 2016 and 2017.

Ellie is the co-author with Tracey Pruzan of Decorating Master Class: The Cullman & Kravis Way (Harry Abrams, 2008), The Detailed Interior: Decorating Up Close with Cullman & Kravis (The Monacelli Press, 2013), and From Classic to Contemporary: Decorating with Cullman & Kravis (The Monacelli Press, 2017). DAVID PHOENIX is a celebrated Los Angeles designer known for thoughtful, modern luxury and livability. His work personifies his own approachable, selfassured manner—gracious and considered. In juxtaposing modern and traditional elements, his aesthetic conveys an easy welcoming sensibility, rich with classic haberdashery details and nuance. David enjoys an international clientele of celebrities, royalty, business magnates, and discerning homeowners. His interiors have graced the pages of leading shelter publications such as Architectural Digest, Traditional Home, Veranda, LUXE Magazine, and Robb Report. The Hollywood Reporter named David as one of the top 25 influential L.A. interior designers, and he was recognized this year as one of the Top Influencers in the Home Design Industry. David was honored to have received the Pacific Design Center’s 2017 Star of Design Award in the field of Interior Design.

Through her sensory-driven design approach, BETH WEBB creates style sanctuaries—natural compositions that provide equal parts lasting wellbeing and transformative physical beauty. Known for incorporating classic proportions and iconic design details into uplifting light-filled spaces, Beth’s design philosophy demonstrates how our five senses transport the instinctive process of design into the tangible. Today, as founder and Creative Director of Atlanta-based Beth Webb Interiors, Beth has completed projects throughout the Southeast as well as residences in California, Connecticut, Michigan, the Bahamas, and Costa Rica. As a noted industry ambassador and style influencer, Beth’s work is often featured in Elle Décor, Veranda, House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Luxe Interiors + Design magazine, Milieu, Southern Accents, and Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, and has been included in books such as Veranda: The Art of Outdoor Living, Veranda: The Romance of Flowers, The Perfect Bath, Linens, and Creating Home: Design for Living. In 2015, Beth won the Southeast Designer of the Year Award, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles’ Bath of the Year Award, and was included in the prestigious Luxe Interiors + Design magazine Gold List in 2017. Beth’s first book, An Eye for Beauty (Rizzoli, 2017), gives her design audience insight into her intuitive design process, celebrating interiors that “speak to the senses.” Moderator SUZANNE TUCKER is recognized today as one of the country’s leading interior designers. Her firm Tucker & Marks was established in 1986 and Suzanne Tucker Home was launched in 2010 with her textile, tabletop, and home furnishings line. Architectural Digest has honored her repeatedly on the AD100 list of top designers. She is the author of two books on design. It’s this dialogue between past and present that enables him to interpret traditional principles for a multiplicity of architectural styles within contemporary ways of living. Schafer opens the doors to his world of comfortable classicism, sharing some of the firm’s most recent and exciting projects from around the country and walking through the inner workings of his distinctive approach — from concrete techniques to the more emotional and intuitive aspects of his process — showing how he brings his projects to life and fills them with soul. Schafer is one of the world’s leading experts on contemporary classical architecture. A member of Architectural Digest’s AD 100 and a winner of Veranda’s “Art of Design Award,” Schafer is a member of the Yale School of Architecture Dean’s Council, a trustee of the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, and served as president and then chairman of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art for over a decade. He holds a Masters of Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture and is the author of the bestselling book The Great American House and the newly released A Place to Call Home. Schafer’s work has been featured in numerous national and international publications, including Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, Veranda, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal. When he’s not traveling for work, Schafer divides his time between New York City, upstate New York, and Maine. A book signing of A Place to Call Home (Rizzoli, 2017) will immediately follow the lecture in the Authors’ Alcove. 58

In 1969, Gladys Thacher founded Enterprise for Youth (formerly Enterprise for High School Students) in her living room with the idea of giving young people opportunities that would prepare them for the workforce. Since then, over 20,000 young people have ventured out in our beloved San Francisco to engage in the world of work. When she started, Glady listed jobs on index cards and connected those jobs to young people who were eager to work. Almost 50 years later, Enterprise offers an internship program, workshops, job shadows, and a job bank. For many of the youth who come through Enterprise, these programs can be life-changing, setting them on course to a successful future. The board, staff, students, and alumni of Enterprise are eternally grateful for Glady’s vision and dedication to San Francisco’s youth.

Napa Ridge Winery and the Franzia Family are proud to sponsor and support the San Francisco Fall Antiques Show benefitting Enterprise for High School Students.

Napa Ridge Napa Valley Premium Wines are to be savored. The grapes are picked at their utmost maturity, resulting in wines that are full-bodied and graceful. The Napa Ridge Cabernet becomes concentrated and rich, while skillful cellaring promotes spicy flavors and softens the tannins, delivering a silky, smooth finish. Our Chardonnay is full with tropical fruit, honey and apple flavors which lead to the savory butterscotch and vanilla notes that linger on the palate.

An Austrian Archer’s Pavise, Klausen, Mid 15th Century Austria, Klausen. Wood, canvas, pigskin, iron, paint.

T

his pavise is one of a series of approximately fiftynine which up to 1871 survived in the Arsenal of Klausen, South Tyrol. The pavise is thought to have taken its name from the North Italian city of Pavia where perhaps it originated. Of oblong form, usually with a medial gutter running down its rear, its use by archers and other classes of infantry extended from the late 14th century to the early 16th century. Although some of its kind were no more than hand-held shields, others, were of a sufficient size to allow them to be propped up in front of the crossbowman to provide him with temporary shelter while he spanned and loaded his weapon. Both types of pavise are clearly depicted in the fine woodcuts prepared by Hans Burgkmair between 1512 and 1518 for the ‘Triumph of Maximilian I’. According to the Emperor’s carefully dictated instructions for these woodcuts, the five men shown carrying the larger pafessen were to be dressed and armed in the Hungarian manner, suggesting that the use of such shields was particularly associated with Eastern Europe. The use of the larger form of pavise by the crossbowman is well shown in the ‘Pageant of the Birth, Life and Death of Richard Beauchamp Earl of Warwick’ of about 1485-90 in the British Library, London. In accordance with the tastes of the later Middle Ages, pavises tended to be decorated with a colourful design that typically involved the arms of the town or city for which they were made.

It all started with a CALLING CARD...

In the summer of 1898, 18-year-old Mary

Alice Longfellow - from the privileged family of the great American poet - went off to Europe on her Grand Tour. Through a stroke of fate, she met Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, fell in love with the vibrant spirit of Montmartre, and lived in the shadow of the Moulin Rouge for one incredible year.

The extraordinary “Les Montmartoises”

she met, and the treasures she brought back to America - signed art, rare sheet music, intimate letters, even gaming chips on which Lautrec himself drew - kept her memories alive for the rest of her life.

Coming in 2018, they will inspire an

exceptional new fusion of art, music, dance and theatre...a kaleidoscopic celebration of Lautrec’s world as seen through the eyes of a young girl from Boston.

Mary Alice was the great-grandmother of Emmy Award-winning conductor and producer George Daugherty, who leads the creative team of this new Lautrec theatrical experience: NUIT BLANCHE . . . A NIGHT IN PARIS WITH TOULOUSE-LAUTREC™®©. At the Fall Antique Show, you are invited to take a sneak peek at some of Mary Alice’s many Lautrec treasures, now ravishingly framed in period splendor by Peter Werkhoven of Aedicule, another member of the show’s award-winning creative producing team.

YEW TREE HOUSE ANTIQUES OF NEW YORK CITY

Magnificent Pair of 18th c. English Giltwood Eagle Tables

Important pair of George II giltwood console tables in the manner of William Kent, circa 1740, the apron with egg and dart molding over Greek key decorated frieze, the left and right facing eagles with raised wings, the well defined talons gripping rockwork bases encrusted with shellfish, standing on plinth stands, the whole in richly burnished water gilding. This pair of tables is closely related to a pair at the Ionic Temple at Rievaulx Terrace, one of two folly temples on the estate associated with designer William Kent. The eagle and rockwork carving are identical, the difference being in the shape of the apron and plinth, the one at Rievaulx are stepped, while these are straight sided. Additionally, the Rievaulx tables have a wave scroll carved frieze, while these have a variation of a Greek key pattern, both motifs favored by Kent and other designers in the English Palladian taste.

I

n this, our 36th year of the Show, I am delighted to welcome our outstanding Exhibitors who come from far and wide. You make the Show the most prestigious and longest running art and antiques Show on the West Coast. The transformation of this historic former military building on Opening Night never ceases to amaze me, and the time and thoughtfulness our Exhibitors put into creating their stunning booths make it a wonderland for art and antiques enthusiasts and collectors. I am so grateful for the many people who give their time and resources to make this Show a success: our patrons, volunteers, and supporters. We are a fully charitable endeavor and your support makes a considerable difference in the lives of countless San Francisco youth. Many of you have been listed and thanked earlier in this catalogue. I would like to call out a few: Our brilliant and dedicated Show Chair, Suzanne Tucker. Full of ideas, her inspired creative juices are constantly flowing. She always speaks her mind (and is usually right). Thank you for all you do for the Show. Suzanne has been coming to the Show since it first opened and has been our Show Chair since 2015. This Show would not exist without the indomitable Toby Rose, who co-founded it in 1981 and ran it for 25 years. Toby is an important advisor, supporter, and friend with a vast historical knowledge of the Show and the industry. I am so appreciative of her support and guidance. I am forever grateful to Tony DiStefano, former Executive Director of Enterprise for Youth, who retired this year after nine years leading our beneficiary nonprofit. He was a great supporter of the Show and a master with spreadsheets. We all wish him a very happy retirement and carefree days on his bike and with his family. Margan Mulvihill and Sarah Montoro are the engine that make this Show run. Thank you for your tireless work, long hours, and attention to detail. Much gratitude goes to the new CEO of Enterprise, Nínive Calegari, and to members of the Enterprise team, Dave English, Board President, Nancy Gots, Director of Development, Shantel Weingand, Director of Finance, and Courtney Budesa, Senior Program Manager; our admiration and thanks to the talented Vera Vandenbosch of Tucker & Marks for helping to promote our Show so well and for your always fascinating and fun blog posts. Finally, a round of applause to the following: our talented graphic designer, KC Hatcher; photographers Drew Altizer and Douglas Sandberg; Linda Burns and her team at Burns & Associates Fine Printing; we welcome our new Production Manager, Megan Knight, and welcome back Global Art Fair Productions, who literally builds out the Show; Dan McCall, Lucas Shoemaker, Kirsty Gumina, Josip Martinovic, and Chris Bennett of McCalls Catering & Events; and the staff of Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. On behalf of Enterprise for Youth, thank you to all who have made this year’s Show possible. Best wishes,

Ariane Maclean Trimuschat 241
