3 of the best water holes Gardners Falls, Maleny Gardners Falls has a picturesque pool surrounded by rock ledges and beautiful tropical Australian bush making it feel like an oasis. The Gorge, Lake Moogerrah

Stony Creek, Woodford

About 2.5km downstream from Lake Moogerah’s spillway, The Gorge camping ground is a secluded and beautifully shaded camping hideaway with a 200m-long swimming hole. It’s around 1.5m deep in most parts and there’s an even deeper pool upstream which you’ll often see daring teenagers and the young at heart jumping fr om. It goes without saying to always check the depth of the water and look out for submerged objects before jumping in.

There are two swimming holes at Stony Creek, one is more like a creek wading area and the larger one like a pool/swimming hole where you can take your inflatables or even a kayak. At the northern end there are more rock pools and a small waterfall to explore, and plenty of options too!
