A brief word from Genevieve ... after seven years I have bowed out as GHF editor and handed over into Vicky’s very capable hands! I am now able to concentrate my efforts on my original Grapevine (Mid Surrey) and also in my role as co-director of the ever growing Family Grapevine group. The Gruffalo competition - clarification In the summer issue G Live ran a competition for two families to win tickets to see The Gruffalo live on stage in September. The response was fantastic with well over 100 entries. However over the period the competition ran (2 months) Genevieve received 4 emails querying the answer to the question. She contacted G Live immediately to check this and they confirmed that they were sure MOUSE was the correct answer and neither of the other 2 other animal options (Giraffe and Donkey) figured in the story at all. It would appear there are different versions and narratives and Genevieve relayed this to the readers who queried it, who she hopes were reassured. Due to the high number of entrants, all of which answered MOUSE, the competition remained valid.
