I love a modern feel to things and wanted something a little different so I choose a “Confetti- Ready to Pop” theme in Turquoise, Mint, Yellow and Grey. So first things first, when guests walked in they saw an adorable Onesie banner by Lolo’s Boutique & Paperie. The custom Clothes pins holding each onesie were by One More Sunshine. Customized Diaper Cakes by Babee Cakes Boutique. Confetti Garland by Taffie Wishes and Baby Blocks by Wendy’s Printable Parties that were adorned over the fireplace mantel. We included a Diaper Raffle with the invites so when guests arrived they filled out a Diaper Raffle Card to win a prize at the end. Also added was a “Wishes for Baby” station for the guests to fill out their wishes for the little man. I wanted a Mimosa Bar so we went with the name,”Mama” Mosa’s Bar. This bar set up included three juices, champagne and an array of fruit choices to garnish to use with their own Confetti Champagne Glass. The glasses were created by cutting adhesive vinyl and cutting out different sized circles in silver and metallic. This gave the glasses a lil flair. For the Dessert table, I loved having the confetti dots throughout the whole table. I created those out of cardstock and the cricut. Less punching for me! We used a simple yellow polkadot fabric for the table cloth and let the desserts and accent pieces be the star.
Simple Baby’s Breath and Yellow Gerber Daises were used as the flowers and I added some “Ready to Pop” and “It’s a Boy” rosettes. I loved theConfetti filled balloons with tassels, these were by One Stylish Party. The “Ready to Pop” Banner by Peckled sparkled in the lighting perfectly. These adorable Onesie Napkins were by Wrapsidazy.com and the Confetti Garland hanging was by Taffie Wishes. There were lots of desserts on the table that fit the theme so great. Cake pops were by Roni Sugar Creations, Glitter sticks on the Cake pops were by Made by a princess, French Macarons were by Le BonBon, Cupcake toppers were by Astonishing Cakes, Cupcakes & Meringues by French’s Cupcake Bakery, Sugar cookies were by Treats 4 Ta-tas and the Onesie napkins were by Wrapsidazy.com. As the guest leave, they took home a bottle of champagne with labels I created to match the theme and their Confetti Champagne glass.

The Confetti Foundation The idea for The Confetti Foundation was developed in 2010 when Stephanie Frazier Grimm’s best friend’s baby was born 8 weeks premature with many complications. Stephanie’s friend spent hours every day driving to the hospital neonatal intensive care unit with her toddler and husband to visit “Baby C” as he gradually grew stronger. During those long drives, Stephanie and her friend would talk about their families, the weather, their jobs, the good times they had in college, and anything else that served as a distraction. One conversation led to baby C’s hospital “buddy” who was going home and finally getting to have a birthday celebration. Stephanie wondered what happened when children are in the hospital on their birthdays. Do they have a party? She discovered the answer was almost always “no.” Parents with sick children are only thinking about their children getting healthy, not leaving their sides to gather supplies and put together a birthday party. Typically, birthday celebrations take place when a child comes home. Stephanie also remembered having to spend her own 13th birthday in the hospital and wanted to make a change. In January 2014, The Confetti Foundation started supplying birthday party kits to children who spend their birthdays in the hospital. Through the party kits, children of all ages are celebrated and honored on their special day. Update on how our favorite Partner is doing about spreading Birthday Cheer across the Nation! The Confetti Foundation is growing by leaps and bounds! They are now in 52 hospitals, 244 boxes have been supplied across to 29 States! How amazing is that??

They even had the authors of Merrilee Mannerly send them 10 books to donate to 10 hospitals for their libraries! How incredible is that?!
They are spreading cheer and making a difference in kids lives! So happy and proud to be a part of this amazing organization!
And just this past weekend guess who tweeted about The Confetti Foundation?! That would be Jenny McCarthy!!! How awesome is that?!??!
