MUSEUM OF FARNHAM
museum of farnham · 38 West Street Located in a beautiful early Georgian town house, with an equally stunning hidden, walled garden, the Museum of Farnham is a joyous place to visit for people of all ages and interests. At the museum this autumn you will find an interactive exhibition ‘Thank You Farnham’ – curated by the community – that tells the stories of people’s lockdown experiences through the objects they made themselves. There are plenty of chances to get involved including a fascinating series of talks, craft workshops for the kids and an opportunity to celebrate the museum’s diamond jubilee at a free event with activities themed around the collections and history of the house. Built by a wealthy hop-grower in 1718, this Grade 1 listed building is well worth a visit for those who appreciate and admire historic buildings. The Museum of Farnham has been part of the Farnham Maltings since 2012. Together we work to provide engaging, enjoyable and imaginative events and exhibitions to reach as many people as possible. facebook.com/MuseumofFarnham @Museum_Farnham @museumoffarnham 38 West Street, Farnham, Surrey GU9 7DX 01252 715094 museum@farnhammaltings.com museumoffarnham.com
