MUSEUM OF FARNHAM
museum of farnham · 38 West Street Located in a beautiful early Georgian town house, with an equally stunning hidden, walled garden, the Museum of Farnham is a joyous place to visit for people of all ages and interests. We welcome spring with a new temporary exhibition, showcasing the fascinating story of a real treasure of local history and art, the murals at St. Mark’s Church in Hale. The exhibition offers insight into the artist Kitty Milroy, her family and the conservation of the murals over the past two years. Interested in your family history? Our spring talks are just for you! Join Jane Cavell over a series of three talks as she provides you with tips and tricks for researching your own family’s history. Half term brings our usual fun-filled craft sessions, along with our Royal Rascals trail for the little ones. Easter sees our first ever ‘Easter at the Museum’ family event, with lambs to meet and feed, craft workshops to get creative and an Easter egg hunt for the children. Don’t worry adults, there’s a lovely coffee and cake stand for you to enjoy, with local Cupsmith coffee, as well as teas and treats. facebook.com/MuseumofFarnham @Museum_Farnham @museumoffarnham 38 West Street, Farnham, Surrey GU9 7DX 01252 715094 museum@farnhammaltings.com museumoffarnham.com
