Race Day is the epitome of Spring. It's when we all know we can shrug off our winter coats, dress in our most beautiful floral dresses and let our hair down for the day, while sipping on the most expensive champagne.

N

otorious Australian fashion label, CAMILLA, has launched their spring racing collection, My Wandering Heart, in Australia's premium fashion and racing precinct of Chadstone, Victoria. The collection features 15 CAMILLA looks, adorning the bright, eccentric prints that CAMILLA is renowned for. Key silhouettes within the collection include embellished bodices; flowing maxi skirts and multi wear dresses which all have an effortless, bohemian essence. The collection is adorned by eccentric head pieces by Suzy O'Rourke Millinery, Phoebe Hyles, floral head pieces by Grandiflora and Camilla's own feathered creations which take a spin on the classic race day fascinator. The eccentric, unique dress is something that CAMILLA's collection is hoping to achieve this coming race day, likening the exquisite pieces to being as rare and beautiful as a unicorn. To be authentic, unique and race day ready, be sure to shop the My Wandering Heart collection.

raids are not as hard to recreate as they look, with some effort you can achieve a stunning result. Toni&Guy share four easy steps to achieve the high volume, dishevelled braid. This hairstyle is created by adding volume at the roots of the hair while teasing and pulling loose strands at the front to create a dishevelled twist on high glamour. Pair the hairstyle with flawless skin, a pop of colour on the lips and big lashes, and you will be race day ready in the beauty department.

A collection by Scott Sloan

No one knows quite how she does it. She dances like no one is watching. She effortlessly captivates everyone at the party. She absentmindedly pulls together an impossibly chic look. She is sweet and innocent yet she leaves everyone utterly intrigued by what she will do next. And the whole time, she is completely unaware of her magic.

S

cott Sloan presents 'The IngĂŠnue', attempting to encapsulate the essence of that which cannot be put into words. The 'Je Ne Sais Quoi' of this charismatic creature and her beguiling allure as she gets ready for a night out in her pied-Ă -terre. She is an exercise in contradiction, pared back, relaxed and making hair and fashion choices almost as an afterthought, yet always the coolest girl in the room thanks to her inimitable Parisian style. The collection is inspired by high fashion; luxe fabrics in a kaleidoscope of different textures and embellishments, in the vein of the recent Moschino, Gucci and Prada campaigns. Rather than a classic black and white palette, the images have been infused with a golden sepia tone to add to the richness and enable the accessories to sparkle. The skin is dewy and incandescent whilst the eyes are subtly smoky and the lips virtuously nude. She is impossible to pin down, so here Scott plays with capturing her multiple personalities within the one frame, experimenting with the concept of mirror images.
