A selection of 59 quotes on the occasion of 59th Milad Mubarak 1446H
Volume 2
“We have not sent a messenger except in the language of his people to clarify the message for them.”
Rasulullah SA, Maulana Ali SA, the Fatimid Imams, and the Duat Mutlaqeen of Yemen guided the people of their age in the language of their region, namely Arabic. As the seat of the Dawat shifted to India, the Duat Mutlaqeen guided the people using a community dialect of Gujarati – Dawat ni Zaban. Today, we live in a global age where regional borders may be traversed through online means, and the message of truth may reach all.
Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS delivers Majalis al Hikma (wisdom seminars) in three languages; Dawat ni Zaban, English, and Arabic. He is a living realization of the Qur’anic verse quoted above; he conveys the message of truth in a way that people of all backgrounds may understand.
He continues the legacy of previous Mawali Tahireen in nurturing Mumineen with wisdom and good counsel (hikmat and maw'izat hasana). His sayings are a sea of wisdom and are proof of the Fatimid knowledge and philosophy he is heir to.
This short compilation is a humble attempt at presenting 59 Arabic, English and Dawat ni Zaban quotes – with accompanying translations – from the vast treasure trove of Syedna’s TUS Majalis, bayaans, and waaz sermons, on the occasion of his 59th Milad Mubarak. May we read them, absorb them, and accept the wisdom in them with our hearts such that they shape our lives.
