This publication is the result of a collaboration between FAWE and researchers across Africa with the support of the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad). The research initiative 'Strengthening gender research to improve girls' and women's education in Africa' seeks to provide a platform for academic researchers to widen their engagement in and influence education policy and practice through collaborative gender research. It also seeks to support research on and by African women to inform advocacy geared towards enhancing girls’ education.
