Missions always involves building. Join us as we ask God to provide finances and skilled people as we build housing for the staff at Koti ni Eden. At present we are building the single quarters for unmarried staff or couoples with only one child. A group of FCE staff is planning to go on the Golden Triangle in Thailand during their December holidays. The aim is to reach out to the many youngsters from across the world who travel this road. This is a faith journey with the sole purpose to guide young people into the truth.

Birthday: Aletta Page. She

is married to Joe and the mother of Sue-Jani, stationed at Koti ni Eden in Zambia

Birthday:

Anita de Jager. Office and admin at Wolseley

A daily challenge for the local people in the many villages is the fear of witchcraft. This leads to all kinds of problems and lack of leadership. Pray for wisdom as we disciple the leaders into the truth that will bring a change in the villages. We see our supporters as part of our body. Pray for those who are struggling with health issues, financial challenges, relationship problems etc. Let us raise a banner of prayer over each one and declare that He is God in all of this.

The Discipleship Mission Training course is starting at Wolseley. This is yet another opportunity to make God known, to reveal His Lordship and to teach His Word. Our desire is to prepare them to go back to their workplaces to be a testimony of a living and loving God. Neels stays over in Addis Ababa for one night en route to Europe. God brought him in touch with a leader of one of the prominent churches in Ethiopia. We look to God to reveal His plan for this connection.

Many children from the villages who attend the school at Koti ni Eden are children from broken families. They face famine, abusive fathers, teenage pregnancies are a reality and due to aids some are orphans. Pray for our teachers who have to teach and reach them.

The Maloneys and the Bezuidenhouts are returning to FCE Wolseley in January 2013. Pray for them as they have to draw to a close with what they were involved and where they were serving.

Pray for Jean-Vion and Evelyns’ baby which is due to be born during this month. There are health issues surrounding the birth that needs to be dealt with in wisdom. Pray for a safe delivery, the parents, the baby, the doctors, the nursing staff and the finances involved.

Bless the leaders at the different training centres. Carel and Rentia at Wolseley, Brian and Barbara, Jannie and Elise at Koti ni Eden, Ameck and Lydia at Kalungu and Moses and Regina in Malawi.

We are preparing for the bi-annual staff conference during December at Koti ni Eden. During these conferences we unite as a body celebrating God’s faithfulness and seeking Him for the way forward. Pray for the programme, the finances, the transport and hearts that are prepared for the working of His Spirit.

We are busy training missionaries at Koti ni Eden and Kalungu. Students have to face cross-cultural differences and unusual situations; they are challenged with commitment, dying to self and hearing God’s voice. Pray that they will learn to trust God in all of this.

The Lord is blessing FCE with many devoted prayer supporters. Thank the Lord for every one who reaches out to us in love, who supports us financially, who speaks a word of encouragement and who lends a helping hand in the projects.

Some of our students who want to enrol in the teacher training programme need to rewrite their matric maths exams. They have been studying diligently these past months and we truly trust God that they will be successful, so that they can be trained as teachers. Pray for confidence and the ability to apply what they have been taught.
