FCE day of fasting and prayer. Join us as we dedicate ourselves to the Lord and seek Him with all our hearts. In Him we move, in Him we live in Him we find our being.
Birthday : Etienne Smit. He is the outreach coordinator of FCE in Koti ni Eden Zambia.
A group of FCE staff is looking into the possibility of going on the Golden Triangle in Thailand. The aim is to reach out to the many young people from across the world who travel this road. This is a faith journey with the sole purpose to guide youngsters into the truth.
The training of teachers with a Christ centred perspective is crucial in raising the next generation for Christ. Pray for the lecturers at our training college. Trust the Lord for sponsorship for many of these students, who do not have the financial resources to be trained.

Please ask the Lord of the harvest to send in harvesters. We look up and we see that the fields are white with the harvest, but we need harvesters to bring in the harvest!
Praise the Lord for Brian and Barbara’s visas that enable them to visit Ndanji, their daughter in Australia. Pray for them as they travel with Neels to meet with FCE prayer supporters in Australia. May they be a shining light as they minister in schools, churches, at cell groups etc.
Birthday : Francois Fouché (Faffa). He is in the media department at Wolseley attending to the websites of FCE.
Pray for Sulene, Eunice, Burton and staff members who are involved in the training of the missionary students in Zambia and Malawi. The crosscultural training is tough and at times the students get discouraged. Ask God to reveal Himself to them.
The training of farmers on model farms that function as economically sustainable units is crucial in a time where there is little food stability. Pray that our students will be able to become accountable farmers so that their family and communities may prosper.
Birthday: Yvette Maloney. She manages the clinic at Koti ni Eden in Zambia.
Pray for Elma Britz who is involved at the schools in Wolseley. She is confronted with teenage pregnancies, suicides and gangster activities. Pray that God will use her to bring hope to children who are desperate and to love them with the love of Christ. Pray for the main speakers of NCTC 2012 – Jannie Compion and Felix Muchimba – that God will write His message on their hearts. Pray the Lord to equip the workshop presenters with His vision for the teachers in times like these and pray that the Holy Spirit will prepare the hearts and mind of the teachers to be encouraged. The training of students in community development is essential for transformational development of communities. Pray for students to serve their communities with a focus on evangelising, discipling, motivating and training their people in skills.
Dirk Grobbelaar and Elma du Toit are travelling with the six DMT-students through Namibia. Pray for them as they minister to teachers and principals of schools. Pray for their protection and ask God to use them as a blessing when they share with prayer supporters.
Birthday : René Els. She is involved in the office and the campsite at Kalungu in Zambia
Thank the Lord for Smiley and Charlotte Swart and Rian and Zelda du Plooy who came to Koti ni Eden to serve the FCE missionaries with medical aid. It is reassuring to know that there is a trustworthy doctor nearby who can give personal attention and care.
Birthday : Marriot Daka. He is involved in community training, and office work at Koti ni Eden in Zambia
SATURDAY
The outreach team from Australia completed the two houses at the training centre in Malawi. The Lord miraculously provided the money for the roofs. Thank the Lord for these people who invested their time, their skills and their finances to enable FCE to continue and to expand the work in Malawi.
Neels and the Singoyi’s fly to different Islands in the Torres Strait for the next three days. We need your prayers as we seek God’s guidance in this new venture. We trust the Lord to direct us to leaders with a passion to serve the Lord and their people. Thank the Lord for the children of the FCE staff. They are growing up in healthy circumstances surrounded by a family who cares. Many of them have to go to high school and the parents need to make decisions concerning their future. Ask God to strengthen their faith and trust in Him based on their personal relationship with Him. Birthday: Ina Perold. Office and finance department Koti ni Eden : Zambia
God draws people to Himself. A lady from Australia and a young man from Spain were recently involved in Volunteer work in Zambia and Malawi. They saw God in action and they accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour. Pray that they will find a family of believers where they can grow into spiritual maturity.
Pray for teachers to attend the Teachers’ Conference (NCTC) held in Bloemfontein 29th Sept – 1 Oct. Ask the Lord to remove all obstacles and that finances will not be a problem. Encourage teachers in your area to attend the conference. FCE has to make use of their own transport when travelling between from training centres or to South Africa. Most of the time the distances are far and the roads are bad. Ask God to provide finances for transport and the maintenance of the vehicles. Continue to pray for our protection on the road. Pray for the team that is leaving from Wolseley to Bloemfontein to present the National Teachers Conference. Pray for their protection on the roads and ask God to use them to minister to the hearts of the teachers.
God is doing a work in the lives of the women through the women’s ministry in Malawi. They testify of changes in their lives, their families and in their communities. The highlight for them is their monthly outreach to women in other villages. They boldly share and testify what God is doing in their lives.
Pray for the protection of the King’s Highway Guest Houses and FCE Training Centres. Recently we had to face breakins and bush fires around our buildings. Thank the Lord for the staff who diligently serve at the guesthouses. FCE opened the King’s Highway Rest Camp at lake Malawi. The celebrations were attended by some of the FCE staff, students, with celebrities and people from the area. It was a God appointed day and a continuation of the work the Lord has started through FCE in Malawi many years ago. Thank the Lord for FCE’s prayer supporters who diligently pray for the work of FCE. Thank Him for supporters who provide finances to sponsor students, to support staff, to build buildings, to feed people, to help with medical aid etc.
