Comme un pied de nez à la fatalité après l'inéluctable annulation des épreuves en 2020 pour cause de pandémie, le Comité d'Organisation de l'ACM prenait la décision exceptionnelle d'organiser trois Grands Prix en 2021.
Près d'un an plus tard nous y sommes. Forte de la capacité de résilience des équipes de l'ACM, de ses partenaires, des Autorités monégasques et de l'engagement des nombreux bénévoles, la promesse est sur le point d'être tenue.
Du 23 au 25 avril, les carrosseries rares et belles des F1 historiques et leurs pilotes passionnés viendront les premiers faire vibrer les vitrines du Boulevard Albert Ier et des Spélugues.
Sans concession, les concurrents ont relevé le challenge en engageant 137 voitures au départ.
Ainsi c'est bien sept séries, telles que prévues au programme initial, qui seront disputées au cours de ce long weekend de sport automobile, rendez-vous international des passionnés venus des cinq continents. To counterbalance the bad luck forcing a cancellation of the 2020 events, due to the pandemic, the ACM Organising Committee decided to host three Grand Prix in 2021.
We are almost there. With the resilience of the ACM and its partners, the Monegasque authorities, and the fidelity of the numerous volunteers, the promise is about to be kept.
From the 23rd to the 25th of April, the rare and beautiful historic Formula One and their passionate drivers will roar through the Boulevard Albert Ier and the Spélugues.
The competitors faced the challenge: 137 cars are enrolled.
Seven series - as planned originally - will be fought during this sportive week end; an international meeting for historic car enthusiasts who will be coming from all five continents.
