COMMUNICATING WITH COUNCIL

Federation Council engages with the community to understand important issues and consider improvements we can make to ensure our residents’ voices are heard.

Information obtained from the community provides Council with access to a wider source of information, as well as potential solutions to local issues. Engaging with Council also allows us to provide the community with information on why decisions were made and any related limitations or opportunities that may exist within these decisions.

We encourage you to work with us to help deliver the best possible outcomes for the community. Having effective communication channels and ways you can provide your say on projects, services and future plans strengthens the link between Council and the community and results in quality decision making. Our Customer Service Team is a great source of local knowledge and are happy to help you. You can visit them at one of our four offices at Corowa, Howlong, Mulwala and Urana.

Alternatively, you can call them on (02) 6033 8999 Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. If you need to contact Council after hours please call 1800 110 088.

A central customer service system is used to lodge requests and report issues identified by residents.

To lodge an online Customer Request visit the Council website.
