The Federation Council region offers an exciting calendar of events and festivals. No matter what time of the year, there is something for everyone.

Community based events such as the Federation Festival, the Festival of Fun for Kids, Oaklands Truck Show and the Urana Vintage Rally highlight the region’s diverse spirit and vibrancy. They play an important role in bringing people together and creating a strong sense of community pride.

Annual events such as the Corowa Australian Billy Cart Championships, Festival of Dance, Corowa Swim-in and Military Parade, and the Yarrawonga Mulwala Multi Sports Festival attract people to the region, provide entertainment for residents, and offer substantial economic benefit to the towns that host them and the broader Council.

Our schools, community and Council recognise more mainstream cultural celebrations such as Australia Day, Children’s Week, Harmony Day, NAIDOC Week, National Reconciliation Week, Seniors Festival, Youth Week and religious festivals. Markets such as the Corowa Rotary Federation Farmers & Variety Market along with the annual Gallery 294 Christmas Market and Morundah Market Day display and sell local arts and crafts.

Find information about up-coming events by visiting the North of the Murray website or the Council website for Council run events and programs.
