WELCOME Our annual SUMMIT is a special time for us to gather from every corner of Europe to spend three refreshing days together as we resource and connect with each other. Our theme this year is “GLOCAL.” We want to talk about how our IC’s act locally and impact globally. We want to welcome our special guest presenters : Pastors Ed Teo, Leroy Cloud, Jon Davis, Jacob Bloemberg and Warren Reeve. They will be sharing in our sessions as we talk about what it means to be a “GLOCAL” church. It’s going to be a powerful time of personal and corporate ministry as we grow together. These days have been intentionally crafted to provide meaningful relational connections, to share relevant resources and bring renewal to both you and your ministry team. We have purposefully created “white space” on the schedule so that you will have time to connect with others over a cappuccino or walk through the city.

Rev. Dr. Edmound Teo served in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Malaysia and Singapore before joining International Christian Assembly in Hong Kong as senior pastor. Dr. Teo has a great love for Hong Kong and inspires ICA to be a church that gives back to the poor and powerless. ICA’s biennial citywide ‘1 PEOPLE 1 CITY’ is one of the fruits of his commitment and compassion for Hong Kong. He is married to Yvonne, with whom he has two children: Charis and Caleb.
JON DAVIS Jon Davis is the lead pastor at the Beijing International Christian Fellowship. He has lived and worked in Asia since 1986.

Jon was ordained as a minister with the American Assemblies of God USA in 1982. Before entering the ministry he was formally trained as an educator, holding degrees in secondary education, psychological studies, and educational supervision. Jon has two adult children and resides with his wife Cyndi in Beijing.
LEROY CLOUD Leroy Cloud has served in full-time ministry for 60 years and has preached in an estimated 70 countries throughout the world. He served as an evangelist for four years, as a pastor for 35 years and as a missionary in Hong Kong, Cambodia and Thailand. He is a former senior pastor of International Christian Assembly in Hong Kong where he served from 1992 - 2001.
WARREN REEVE Warren Reeve has served in pastoral ministry for 32 years in Canada, the United States, Indonesia and Kuwait. He was named senior pastor of Lighthouse Church in Kuwait in 2012. Lighthouse is the registered official English Language Congregation in Kuwait and offers 10 English services in five locations on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The church sponsors eighteen national partner churches. Reeve also serves as the vice president of the National Evangelical Church of Kuwait, an organization of 87 churches.

urrently, about 30% of us are M’s, and we give to relief situations or to local ministries. We have an outreach to locals that is an English Club (with English conversation). It is 1.5 hours when we do not preach, nor do we teach English, but provide conversation practice. Through this, we build relationships and meet with people later for meaningful conversations. CF of Athens facilitates missions, because we are missions. Each of our
people groups understand missions because they have been ingrained to pray, give and go! on the receiving end of missions for much of their lives. They understand the Great Commission. We continue to focus outward and not inward, being a blessing through ministry rather than being entertained. We facilitate missions through various outreaches. Our ministry to Syrians, Afghans, and Iranians is an ongoing and growing work in progress. he main characteristic is that we are the only international church here in Lugano. Our services are bilingual at every level: worship, announcements, preaching, prayer, home groups. The only thing at this stage that we do not provide is a bilingual children’s church, mainly because of lack of manpower, but on the other hand, it is not so bad as it allows international children to just jump in another language that eventually they will have to learn as they grow. NCF is the only bilingual (EnglishSpanish) Christian church in the area. It is located only 15 miles from the Rota Navy Base where there are other English speaking churches. There is another Spanish speaking Assemblies of God church in our town (El Puerto de Santa María). Most of our congregation in the International Fellowship of VCC are only with us for two to three years, so once we know they are in the process of moving to their next post, we always find out the name of the city. From there we contact the Pastor and be sure that we have made a connection between them both. 2013 was a year of intentional connection as we worked closely with regional champions who were already doing international church ministry in Africa, Asia Pacific, Eurasia, Europe, Latin America and Northern Asia and coached them about the value of networking that would allow them to build regional strategic networks of like-minded international churches. We also connected with leaders of other commonly-purposed mission organizations to discuss the potential development of collaborative partnerships. 2014 was a year of increased capacity as we broadened the base of GICN with the involvement of churches from Asia Pacific and Northern Asia who engaged with us on a highly interactive level. FOUR YEARS AGO AT OUR FEIC SUMMIT, IN A DIVINE MOMENT INSPIRED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, THE VISION TO FORM A GLOBAL NETWORK OF INTERNATIONAL CHURCHES WAS BORN. IT WAS A DRAMATIC MOMENT THAT WAS FILLED WITH MUCH EMOTION AND ENERGY. FROM THAT MOMENT UNTIL NOW HERE IS WHAT WE HAVE SEEN ... GLOBALICN ... "PROGRESSIVELY EMERGING, POWERFULLY ENGAGING!"

Additionally, we developed a dynamic connection with MICN (Missional International Church Network). This connection led to the visionary decision to co-host the upcoming conference, “A Global Church For A Global World”, in Hong Kong on April 11-14, 2016 of which you will hear even more about during this SUMMIT. 2015 has been a year of incredible change as a new international church planting initiative called, "Momentum" was launched by AGWM with the goal to plant 100 churches globally over the next five (5) years! This signals a major change on many levels and assures that other like-minded organizations will do the same.
We also held our first GICN Gathering in Jakarta in May, 2015 and had leaders representing each of the six regions in which where we serve. GLOBALICN ... "PROGRESSIVELY EMERGING, POWERFULLY ENGAGING!" What we are seeing causes our hearts to sing but ... we are not surprised! From the very beginning we knew that this was the time, doing it as a team was the way and that in seeking to honor each other and promote unity, we would find His favor and have His blessing! These things have become ours in abundant measure!
