WORKSHOP IPAS During today's session, we had a more profound discussion on the topic of abortion. Given the fact that it's meaningless to discuss the whole topic without taking social cultural factors into consideration, we shared our opinion on structuring plausible resolution to address issues regarding unsafe abortion in each of our home country. We came to the conclusion that antiabortion society often exaggerated the adverse effect of abortion and elicited consequent stress on subject, and the most effective solution would be raising awareness on related medical knowledge through media or education.
IMET
On the second day of the TMET workshop, we took a further exploration into the real essence of medical education. First we discussed over the curriculum development, including the reason why SCOME exists as an extention and refinement of the current education system. Then we were instructed of the Tyler Model, which was primarily the structure of knowledge and therefore led us to a core question: the comparison of education and training. In the afternoon session, we had
group discussions on the essence of training as well as the methods of assessment in medical education. All in all, today was full of fun and meaningful interactions. Hope for the final wrap-up tomorrow!
GLIMATE CHANGE Climate change is described as a “super– wicked” problem. It affects every aspect of our lives, so it is hard to identify or narrow down to a single problem, which makes it complicated and hard to come up with a solution. The issue also makes countless conferences being held annually. The effect of climate change actually poses human in great danger of living in a slow pace. What's worse, it's hard for human beings to unite because most nations never compromise on its economic and strategic interest. Politicians usually care more about urgent problems, excluding the ones that require long-term investment, such as climate change. Also, the great gap of economy development among all the countries makes it difficult for them to unite. It is interesting that the only nation having reached the goal of reduction on greenhouse gas emission set at the Kyoto Protocol was SOVIET, because its economy situation collapsed afterwards. We can see that climate change is not just a scientific problem, but also involves economy and politics because it affects our lives and society profoundly.

Chinese yo-yo is a kind of Chinese traditional folk acrobatics. To play Chinese yo-yo well, one has to balance the yo-yo with both ends of a rope tied on it. The rope can be Nylon or cotton. Though having trouble controlling the yo-yo in the beginning, most delegates could gradually get the tips of manipulating and controlling the yo-yo, and even could do tricks masterly. Some people even fell in love with it, insisting on practicing again and again until mastering it. Chinese Facial Makeup
