Traumatologists from the University of Carabobo (Valencia) are positively evaluating the use of Synvis (a viscous substance also known as Hylan G F 20) for the treatment of the glenohumeral joint, in a group of patients taken at random, according to the pathology painful that they present in the shoulder. The work carried out by the orthopedic doctors and teachers Fernando Luis Gomez Aguado, Ernesto Castillo, Jose Viamonte and Aixangel Velasquez, opens up very good prospects for successfully facing traumatic diseases of the upper joints. The tests in the patients to whom arthroscopy was applied, included taking a biopsy, to determine if there was an inflammatory reaction with the drug. The study carried out by this medical group, at the University Hospital of Valencia, had the support of the Norvarti Laboratory, as reported by Dr. Gomez Aguado, who stated that the work was done randomly and with a cross-section, in a group of patients from the consultation area, with different pathologies of painful shoulder and functional disability. "Gomez Aguado later also added: we were able to make a suitable scale for anterolateral placement on the shoulder and with permanent attention to the dose, applied in different amounts, until we saw which was the one that caused the desired effect to achieve excellent clinical improvement ".

explained the young university professor and physician, who has been emphasizing his innate vocation for scientific research in traumatic medicine.
All these results and their variables were individually analyzed by the research group, agreeing that the prospects look very good and represent a change that can be of great magnitude for the treatment of men in trauma consultations and hospitalizations.
