The multimedia master is very interesting. Even though multimedia is such a broad topic, I think that through the courses containing a variety of subjects, plus the courses we can choose, this master offers almost every student the freedom to choose for themselves the area he or she likes to learn more about.

Before this I studied marketing, and through this master I get to know more about different media elements that can be useful within marketing, and for my future.

Because I feel at home in Porto and everyone is very friendly and welcoming, I am realy happy I have chosen to take this next step in this beautiful city!

FEUP has very good infrastructures and equipment conditions, the quality of teaching is excellent, teachers and colleagues are very nice and it has all the necessary resources to achieve my goals. I had the opportunity to make an Erasmus exchange in my last year of master’s degree at Cranfield University, UK, and I finished my study programme there. I worked at a financial software company in London for a year and then I returned to Portugal to start my own company.

Narsireddy Anugu, India DOCTORAL PROGRAMME IN ENGINEERING PHYSICS My main motivation for undertaking a PhD Programme in the Faculty of Engineering was the desire to get a doctoral degree in four years from one of the top universities in Europe and more so because I was offered a scholarship to pursue my PhD. I was attracted by the research going on my area of interest (astrophysics instrumentation) and the group participation in international projects. In my opinion, FEUP is a very innovative place that enables me to be creative.

Regarding cultural issues, as I come from India, I see there are very interesting cultural differences, which are very easy to adapt to, and I am very fortunate to experience such a rich cultural diversity. When I arrived to Porto, first few days, I found that language was the biggest problem for me but people are very friendly and helped me to overcome that.

My FEUP experience is the best I could have asked for. I also have a very good supervision constantly pushing me to excel in the subject field. I would surely recommend FEUP to anyone looking for a PhD in Engineering.
