Volle Fahrt voraus, die Digitalisierung in den Gesundheitsberufen zum Wohle der Klient*innen schreitet in rasantem Tempo voran. Damit auch alle nötigen Expert*innen dieselben Voraussetzungen erfüllen, vernetzt Eveline Prochaska als von der Stadt Wien geförderte Stiftungsprofessorin für Healthcare Engineering die Berufsfelder Technik, gesundheitswissenschaftliche Professionen und Pflege untereinander.

Doch viele junge Menschen haben lediglich oberflächliche eigene Erfahrungen und damit fehlt es an Vorstellungskraft, was alles möglich ist. „Wenn wir in den Vorlesungen den Link zwischen digitaler Technik zum eigenen Berufsfeld herstellen, fällt die Hemmschwelle und der erste Schritt ist getan“, freut sich Prochaska.
