The peculiarities of the Ukrainian artistic textile development in the second half of the 20th – the beginning of the 21st century in the context of the European experimental tendencies are investigated in the monography. The prerequisites for the revival of art textile in Europe are considered and the innovativeness of creative searches of leading artists is analyzed. The latest tendencies and conceptual metamorphoses of the modern Ukrainian professional art textile are investigated. The interrelations and mutual influences of folk and professional art were revealed. Author’s conceptions were examined, as well as the artistic and stylistic features of the works in the context of traditions and innovations. The exhibition activity in Ukraine and Europe has been analyzed as a development of the creative search, the communicative role and integration of Ukrainian art textile in the international space has been proved.
