A TUWING makakausap ng entertainment press si Carmina Villaroel, ay laging naisisingit ang pangalan ni Rustom Padilla, ex-husband ng actress. Hindi naman itinatanggi ni Carmina na okey at matagal na siyang naka-move on at sa katunayan ay nagkita na raw sila, pero hindi sila nagkausap. Masaya na raw siya ngayon at nababalitaan naman daw niyang masaya na rin si Rustom na ngayon ay si BB Gandanghari. Hindi lang daw niya matake na makaharap at nag-uusap sila ng ex-husband na may maraming tao at may camera na nakatutok sa kanila. intimate scenes kami ni Paulo Avelino na younger than me at alam natin iyan. But then, naisip ko. minsan lang ‘yung mga ganitong role kung dumating...alam mo’yun? So, challenging for me as an actress. Alam nyo naman na nagsimula ako as child actress so kahit paano, medyo ‘uhaw’ tayo sa mga pambihirang role na malalim, mabigat at matsachallenge ang pagka-artista mo.” “May mga bagay-bagay lang na kailangang pag-usapan like medyo mayroong kissing scene ngayon at younger pa sa akin. Syempre, kinunsulta ko si Zoren, ang aking husband at sinabi niya na gawin ko. Very supportive siya since alam niyang trabaho lang ‘yun. Paguwe ko ng bahay, ako pa rin si Carmina, ang asawa niya.” (laughs) “Pagdating naman sa mga anak ko, ay!....bawal! silang manood nun, as in bawal! ilipinos working temporarily in Canada are said to go home back in the country starting this April under the Canadian government’s fouryear rule. As per Government of Canada’s official website, www.cic.gc.ca, “Most people can come to Canada to work for a MAXIMUM of 4 years. If you are currently working or plan to work in Canada, you should keep track of the total time you have worked and plan to work in Canada. After you have worked temporarily for four years in Canada, you will not be eligible to work in Canada again UNTIL another PERIOD OF 4 YEARS HAS PASSED.” Sa isang pahayag, Citizenship Minister Chris Alexander said, “Let there be no mistake: We will not tolerate people going ‘underground,’ flouting our immigration laws is not an option, and we will deal with offenders swiftly and fairly.” “Canadians are welcoming and generous but we need to ensure that we’re putting Canadians first and standing up against potential abuse of our immigration system,” dagdag pa ni Minister Alexander. nnie, 17, is an emerging Filipino-Canadian pop artist. This young lady has recently been nominated for the category, Female Independent Artist Award by The Women in Charge in Atlanta, Georgia. Born in 1998 in Calgary Alberta, Annie started singing classic, love ballads, and jazz at age 13 at her father’s restaurant, Pacific Hut. Here is where she was offered to sing with a variety of local bands. Annie grew fond of singing and started performing multiple genres like: reggae, jazz, pop and disco which had further more influenced her and gave her a niche, her own unique style in singing therefore making her a well versed entertainer. Also at 13 she joined Youth Singers of Calgary. She also scored an opening solo along with a mid piece solo at the Jubilee Auditorium for their Spring Show: One. This was her first introduction to performing. The following year she had another solo at the Jubilee Auditorium for YSC’s Spring Show, Museo. She has performed at a large variety of local events supporting 28

Performing random acts of kindness fulfill your days on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, and the more you can do for others, the better you feel about yourself. You’re the picture of poise on the 6th, 7th, and 8th, and people will really have to do something wacky to phase you. Lutong Nanay: Fat loss non-fried chicken

ried chicken has been a favorite for both young and old and had always been present in any occasion, especially on birthdays… But because frying oil and any other fatty substance used to fry and get that “crispy and malutong sa kagat na balat,” others are starting to have second thoughts as to prepare this birthday favorite/staple or not. But, as I am known for healthy food choices and options… I am bringing you this fat loss non-fried chicken..
2 tbsp. egg whites Cut desired chicken parts
What you’ll need: Himalayan salt Chopped garlic 1 tsp. patis (fish sauce) Ground pepper Cornstarch Panko bread crumbs
Before serving, spray with oil then broil (full, 500 degrees) middle deck for 8 minutes each side.

What you need to do: Marinate your cut chicken parts with Himalayan salt, garlic, 1 tsp. patis, pepper, cornstarch, panko bread crumbs and 2 tbsp.egg whites for about 30 minutes. Once you’re done marinating your chicken, then you can bake it at your pre-heat oven for 50 minutes at 350 degrees.
