Jennylyn Mercado’s Mommy Lydia dies at 74 As Posted on PEP.ph

umanaw na ang adoptive mother ni Jennylyn Mercado na si Lydia Mercado noong Sabado ng unaga, October 29.
Ito ang kinumpirma sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ng manager ni Jennylyn na si Becky Aguila. Si Mommy Lydia ay 74 taong gulang. Ayon kay Becky, sepsis sanhi ng pneumomia ang ikinamatay ng kinikilalang ina ng Kapuso actress-TV host. “She died of sepsis secondary to pneumonia at 7:52 a.m. at Saint Luke’s ICU.” Humihingi rin daw ang pamilya ni Jennylyn ng privacy para sa kanilang pagdadalamhati sa pagpanaw ng ina. Inilagak ang mga labi ni Mommy Lydia sa Loyola Memorial Chapels sa Commonwealth, Quezon City, bago ito i-cremate.

Aljur Abrenica confirms rekindled relationship with Kylie Padilla As Posted on PEP.ph

-year-old Senator Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao dethroned World Boxing Organization champion 27-year-old Jessie Vargas by unanimous decision.
Pacman wins a unanimous decision by scores of 114113, 118-109 and 118-109. Jinkee Pacquiao posted a photo with her husband and writes on her Facebook account, "Congratulations my babe! God is good always. I thank the Lord for an answered prayer, for granting us the victory. Indeed, we are victorious through Him who loved us! I love you i rejoice with you. Keith Thurman vs Danny Garcia winner These two unbeaten welterweight world champions are set to meet in March, provided Garcia gets past unfancied Samuel Vargas this weekend. The winner would then be a prime candidate for Pacquiao and arguably his biggest threat at 147lbs. However, the timelines are unlikely to match as Pacquiao would not wait around that long to fight the Thurman-Garcia winner. 4. Kell Brook Another welterweight champion, IBF title-holder Brook is coming off of a loss to Gennady Golovkin up at middleweight. Getting back to welter would be a struggle for Brook, but he insists he can do it for the big fights, and they don’t get much bigger than Pacquiao. Brook’s brave showing against ‘GGG’ has seen his stock rise and the enormity of the event has enhanced his profile. 3. Vasyl Lomachenko Pacquiao has reportedly claimed he could drop to 135lbs and meet fellow pound-for-pound entrant Lomachenko. Si Macky ay half-brother ng aktres na si Ara Mina, na matalik na kaibigan naman ni Sunshine. MTRCB Chairman Toto Villareal denies selective censorship with Till I Met You love scene As Posted on PEP.ph

ovie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) Chairman Toto Villareal denied the “selective censorship” allegation in the the regulatory board’s upcoming meeting with the top executives of ABS-CBN primetime series Till I Met You. Addressing the issue, Atty. Villareal said, “First of all, there’s no more censorship. “Ang censorship, we won’t even review you, we’ll just ban you. That’s no more. “We ask our friends from the media to help explain that. “We just classify. “And it’s also a matter of informing the public, especially parents, how they will be able to determine the type of entertainment their children will see.” This is in relation to the teleserye’s October 25 episode that showcased a love scene of James Reid and Nadine Lustre inside a car. As it happened, some avid JaDine fans expressed their protest by tweeting “no to selective censorship” via Twitter. In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Atty. Villareal

COMPLAINTS. Nevertheless, Atty. Villareal stressed the need for a dialogue so that Till I Met You can also “present its side” with regard to the complaints against the show's October 25 episode, as well as another episode that allegedly contained “sexuallycharged bath-related scene.” He said, “Matter of factly, we mentioned [in our letter to Till I Met You execs] that in that particular episode, there are those who have written us without making any prejudgment on our part, vis-a-vis the program, we said that there are those who are a bit affected by the scene, saying that it may be unfit for TV…
explained that MTRCB’s role is not to “play a policeman” but to help empower TV programs, as in the case of Till I Met You.

He added, “For the conference next, we see it as more of a dialogue.

The MTRCB chair also pointed out that the regulatory board “appreciated” the show’s initiative to self-regulate by putting up an SPG (Strictly Parental Guidance) advisory on its October 25 episode. “Because our records show, in fairness to TIMY [Till I Met You], for the so-called car episode, they previously wrote the MTRCB, advising us that for that particular episode, that they will impose an SPG advisory with indicators for theme and for sex. “So, in that regard, that is on our record, that’s appreciated. “The purpose of that is not so much as to get our permission but to keep us in the loop.” Atty. Villareal also acknowledged the fact that Till I Met You’s controversial car scene was aired within the prescribed timeslot for shows with more mature themes.
“It’s very healthy na mapag-usapan.” As for some netizens’ claim that other TV programs supposedly contain more sensitive content than Till I Met You’s October 25 episode, Atty. Villareal stressed that MTRCB is open to feedback from viewers. “We have a monitoring and inspection unit. “If they have complaints with certain shows, why they don’t also write us? Why don’t they send an email? “And then we can also invite us to their conference.” Atty. Villareal also said that MTRCB has a separate ad hoc committee which will be in-charge of facilitating the conference on November 10. He added, “Whenever the MTRCB releases an invitation for a conference, it is further not only to its regulatory function, but also developmental.

The actor attended a private screening of the upcoming and highly-acclaimed film Moonlight, for which his production company, Plan B, is listed as one of the executive producers. The event was held in Los Angeles, and he was joined by close pal, Julia Roberts. The pair hugged and smiled for several photos before the event. The outing marks the first time Pitt has been photographed following the
announcement of his divorce from Jolie in September.
