The inevitable typical food and wine signed the full satisfaction of the participants who were greeted, at the end of the farewell dinner, by President Stelios Korelis with a special dedi-

cated cake celebrating this fourth edition. «It is a pleasure to see the increasing of the organisation level in these FIM Europe events», stated Alessandro Sambuco. «Safety in managing the group, care of details in planning the daily tours and technology used for the media documentation of the event were at top level. a high level of concentration. The participants were very satisfied and enjoyed the total program. The great efforts of this team was the example for a touring event like this». «Our Federation would like to thank the FIM Europe administration for entrusting us to organise this

meeting, and also the participants who honored us with their presence. We are looking forward to the next year's event, and looking forward to hosting another event in the near future», stated Stelios Korelis AMOTOE President. FIM Europe Mag 5/2018

The 2nd Management Council of the new mandate has taken place at the Hotel Diament at Chorzów, Poland, thanks to the perfect organisation granted by the Polish Federation (PZM).

Also in this occasion the Management Council meeting has been combined with an important motorcycling event: the final round of the Speedway Euro Championship in Chorzów.

The Management Council following the elections is always dedicated to appoint the Members of the Sporting and Non-Sporting Commissions, as

well as the ones of the Medical Panel.

Besides the aforesaid task, it must be highlighted the decision which was taken to create a working group for the revision of the FIM Europe Statutes.

The FIM Europe President, Dr Wolfgang Srb, was not able to attend and therefore the meeting was chaired by the 1st Deputy President, Martin de Graaff, who declared:

«The atmosphere of the Management Council was very good. The main items in agenda were the appointments of Chairmen and Members of all Commissions

and the creation of a working group, in order to start preparing the new Statutes as from January 2019».

«I am sure that the confirmed and the new appointed Chairmen of the Non-Sporting Commissions will be able to face all challenges that will come in the next four years», added the 2nd Deputy President, Silvio Manicardi. «One of these challenges will surely be the EU Motor Insurance Directive (MID), which could represent a potential risk affecting the motorcycle users».

most of the volunteers would like to have more skills in order to improve motorsport at all levels. For trainers and riders the MX Academy is the right way to educate this group, the Academy coordinator can make an offer for a three days training, both for trainers and riders. The Federation will ask for the 2019 competition a European 65/85 Championship in their zone. One of the tracks had already a pre-inspection. In the near future there is interest for a motocross Sidecar GP. The organisation of enduro is possible with participants out of the near Countries. One of the members, a real speedway fan, has plans for Speedway. Moldova, with its beautiful landscape and the friendly climate is particularly suitable for motor tourism, too.
