LUIGI BALLERINI was born in Sarzana, near La Spezia, and he lives in Milan with his wife Daniela and their four children. He considers himself lucky because thanks to his job he has the opportunity to meet and discuss with many young people, in schools or in occasion of the promotions fo his books. His novels won many awards in Italy and abroad. "La signorina Euforbia Maestra Pasticciera" won the 2014 Andersen Award for best book 9-12 years.
