“Hey, Mr. Magician, stop playing around with me.� 8

A beautiful little bird chirped to him, “There’s no magician here. You tripped over a bamboo shoot.” 10

“A bamboo shoot?” “Yup, when a bamboo shoot grows up, it becomes a bamboo.”

Coming to a brook, Piggywiggy sat down on a rock and soaked his feet in the water.

“He-he,he-he…” Something tickled Piggywiggy and he couldn’t help laughing.

“Tadpoles?” “Yes, when a tadpole grows up, it becomes a frog.”

Piggywiggy then sat down under a big tree. A caterpillar fell onto his neck. 24

“Ha, Mr. Magician, I finally found you.� Piggywiggy cried out. 26

The little bird said to him, “That’s not the magician. It’s a caterpillar.”

Piggywiggy saw a beautiful butterfly. The little bird told him, “ This used to be a caterpillar in the spring.�

“But, I don’t believe you. In the spring you were a bird, and now in the summer you are still a bird.”

“In the spring I was a piggy, and in the summer I’m still a piggy. How come they have all changed?”
