HIGHFIELD HOUSE
The village of Crowle is within easy reach of Worcester and, along this quiet road, stands this magnificent family home, surrounded by unspoilt countryside, alongside an abundance of local services. An individually designed house, standing on a sizeable parcel of land and presenting a blank canvass which enabled its current owners, to extend and reconfigure to serve the needs of their family which included their disabled son.

Highfield House is an immaculately kept, large contemporary and economic home situated in the sought-after village of Crowle. Space is the theme at Highfield House, enjoying a very large open plan kitchen and dining area with views of the garden, and the superb space and light create a perfect family home. In addition, there is an indoor heated swimming pool and a very large annex connected to the property. The annex has been adapted for special needs, with live-in facilities, but is also perfect for multigenerational living.
The large garden can be taken in from the master bedroom balcony or the patio and the real size of the property can be appreciated with a steel barn and parking for many cars front and rear. With the M5 motorway and Worcestershire Parkway not too far away, the location is excellent for nearby transport links.

Seller Insight
The location of the house was ideal for us all and working very closely with an architect who interpreted our rigorous specification, the huge project was very much a labour of love for us both. The end result is this incredible home which, with its flexible design and layout, fulfilled not only the exacting requirements of our son, but also those of our active family and its needs. Our home has been described as a ‘tardis’ as it opens into this spacious, bright sunny, welcoming, home, which is both practical and luxurious. There is an open sociable flow throughout, highlighted with its open plan ambience, but we do have areas in which to enjoy individual hobbies and pastimes. Added on to our master bedroom is a spacious balcony which is idyllic for a morning cup of tea, especially on warm spring days listening to the sounds of the visiting birds. Also, in the evening it becomes a quiet space on which to relax with a cool beverage. It is such an incredible home in which to share celebrations with friends and family whatever the occasion. We also have an adaptable, indoor swimming pool leading out onto its patio, which incorporates the outdoor space during the summer months.
“The large garden has been professionally landscaped and provides interest and colour throughout the year and another joy to enjoy from our bedroom balcony, but our spacious patio is another area on which we can relax, enjoy family BBQs and al fresco dining.

“The village is one in which locals have time to say, “Hello” and pass the time of day. Within the community we do have a shop, post office, village hall, community play area and fields as well as plenty of bridle paths for local walks. Our local pub is fabulous and serves outstanding food and we enjoy its sociable atmosphere. There is a primary school in the village, and Worcester is fortunate for the quality of its education opportunities, in both the state and independent sectors, giving options at all levels. In addition, travel, whether by road or rail to all parts of the land, is convenient and efficient.
“Our house is first and foremost a magnificent family home but now that our son is no longer with us, we think it is time to move to the next part of our lives. We have just happy memories of life here and wish its new owners much joy.”*
