The owners explain that whilst they enjoy the practical aspect of the house they are surrounded by delightful reminders of another age. The Tudor ship’s beam in the dining room, the period floorboards, the Georgian spice cupboard at the top of the stairs, the attractive Georgian shelving and cupboards, and the original door to the cellar, are all reminders that you are custodians of the house and a chapter in its long history.
