We discovered a delightful Victorian fireplace hidden in one of our bedrooms after a visit from a swarm of noisy bees! An interesting long house which provides us with the joy of both fabulous sunrises and sunsets. Also, a bright and sunny home with a highly versatile layout which gives many options for its use; one which has worked so well for our family life. Our home does have a natural welcoming ambience and special feel to share with our friends and family. We have held many parties and social gatherings here, lots of them as our children grew from tiny tots into adulthood.”
Our productive vegetable and fruit garden and greenhouses provide us with plenty of home-grown produce. We have several useful outbuildings; one being an old piggery which we converted into a walled courtyard garden where we have hosted many sociable suppers and BBQs as it is a real sun-trap, even in winter.”

Village information
Wistow is a small rural village located in a small secluded valley approximately 7 miles to the north east of Huntingdon. The parish church is partly Norman and contains some examples of 15th century painted glass while the Manor House dates from the early 17th century. There are a number of 16th and 17th century timber-framed houses in the village such as Rooks Grove Farm, Thatched Cottage and Lavender Cottage. The Three Horseshoes is the only surviving public house in the village and offers a wide selection of ales and food.
