Set back across the green one finds Woodside Cottage tucked away behind hedges and enjoying a lovely feeling of privacy. This chocolate box detached country cottage is a dream home for those seeking a comfortable home away from it all but only fifteen minutes drive of the Buntingford and the A10.
The cottage is Grade II listed and cleverly blends the charm of original features with modern requirements. The interior is presented with real style and flair and needs viewing to be fully appreciated.

STEP INSIDE
The ground floor enjoys three lovely reception rooms, a garden lobby with cloakroom off and a fabulous kitchen/breakfast room with an AGA and a real farmhouse feel to it. Upstairs one finds four bedrooms, each with a view, and a lovely family bathroom.
One steps into a really cosy living room with red brick fireplace with wood burning stove. Exposed timbers and studwork really set off the room. The dining room is another room full of charm and adjoins both the kitchen/breakfast room and the sitting room. This is a delightful double aspect room, light and offering a feel of space and with stairs leading up to a good size double guest bedroom with a lovely outlook over the garden. At the rear of the house is the hub of the home. The kitchen/breakfast room is another lovely light room and is well fitted with an extensive range of units complimented by the AGA. In addition to the AGA is a built-in electric oven and hob. The kitchen is double aspect with French doors opening onto the patio and gardens. Adjoining the kitchen is a garden lobby/boot room with a cloakroom off.
Stairs rise from the dining room up to the first floor landing off which are three bedrooms and a lovely well-appointed bathroom with underfloor heating, bath and separate shower cubicle. The main bedroom is a good size, double aspect, light and spacious with a good range of fitted wardrobes. There is a further double bedroom with wardrobes and cupboards together with a good size single bedroom.

The gardens are a joy. Approached via a five bar gate that leads into an extensive gravel driveway with ample parking for numerous cars. There is a large heritage style double car port with a good size home office/studio adjoining. The gardens themselves enjoy a high degree of privacy and have been attractively landscaped with an attractive large patio adjoining the house providing a perfect outside entertaining space. A long lawn bordered by well stocked flower beds and mature shrubs provide year round colour and interest. Toward the foot of the garden is a pretty patio over which is a Pergola with Wisteria and Clematis climbing up it. There is a useful garden shed with workshop and outside lighting..
STEP OUTSIDE LOCATION
Woodside Cottage is fronted by the green which is common land and great for walking and spotting wildlife including a number of herds of local deer. Moor Green is within convenient distance to a number of towns including Buntingford, Baldock and Stevenage (A1M connection) providing shopping, schools, recreational facilities and stations with rail services to London. Stevenage is the station most locals use being approximately 20/30 minutes’ drive from Moor Green with the fast train to Kings Cross taking around 21 minutes, so central London can be reached in well under an hour from the cottage.
