10 The Mansion House Norton Grange | Little Kineton | CV35 0DP

Once the magnificent family home of Lord Willoughby de Brook, the Mansion House has an unusual history serving many purposes since it was constructed in 1823. In the late 1800s it was owned by the master of the nearby Warwickshire Hunt, it later became Kineton Auxiliary Hospital during the First World War and then The Norton Grange Borstal School for Boys, from where the private estate takes its name. In the 1980s the mansion house was beautifully restored and sensitively converted to accommodate town-house-style living, and a number of sumptuous private apartments, number 10 being the largest of these.

The house is elegant and spacious, with beautiful French Oak floors, high ceilings and large Georgian sash windows, giving the property a sense of light.

The Ground Floor On entering from the rear of the property you walk through the library complete with built in storage cupboards and book shelving. With oak flooring throughout the ground floor, high ceilings, decorative coving and deep skirting there is a sense of elegance about this home. The central point of the home is a fabulous reception dining hall with the dog-leg staircase rising to the upper floors. Doors lead to a lovely drawing room with bay sash windows that open to the garden. The kitchen/breakfast room is modern, with a range of wooden fitted furniture complemented by beech and stainless steel worktops. There is an integrated dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave together with space for an electric range cooker. There is a further reception room/study and downstairs cloakroom.

Elegance

High ceilings, deep and ornate architraves around the doors, and period window all combine to tell a story of its unique history and opulent luxury. This stunning house balances the classical proportions of its period design whilst meeting the requirements and demands of a busy family in the 21st century

The First Floor The first floor landing leads to three of the bedrooms. The principal bedroom with views over the rear garden has a range of fitted wardrobes and fitted en-suite bathroom, with bath and separate shower with rain forest shower. The second bedroom to the front again has an en-suite bathroom and a dressing room completed with fitted wardrobe storage.

The Second Floor A further staircase rises to the second floor, where there are a further two large double bedrooms and a bathroom.
