This year, D.C. saw the completion of several major projects, including: apartment towers, office buildings, and a soccer field, with even more developments scheduled to be completed by 2019. Some of this year’s major projects are the Midtown Center, Capitol Riverfront’s 99M, the Lydian 400K Apartments, the Chapman Stables, and Audi Field.

he Historic Hill Mansion goes on the market; Virginia is known for its unique homes and mansions but rarely does a property as significant as the Hill Mansion become available. This home was beautifully restored in the 1990’s by the current owner with newer kitchen updates a couple of years ago. The home is a two story stucco building that seamlessly married a new addition. A detached garage was added on the spot that was once the kitchen. The front is sheltered by an arcaded veranda, a device advocated for southern houses in this period. Other noteworthy features are the painted scoring stucco, four elaborate porches, cast- iron and wood, as well as interior appointments, including a broad curving stair.
