Amelia Rose Wilson Concept Generation DE1135
Various situations and places can produce very different feelings. For instance, when travelling I focus on all of my senses, taking in everything from my very unfamiliar and exciting environment, observing colours and details. In contrast, when at home, everything feels very secure and comfortable; my surroundings are almost like block shapes in my mind, as they are seen on a daily basis. Detailed illustrations of my recent time in Budapest juxtapose with experimental black and white continuous line drawings of my home. The colour palette has been taken from photography from Budapest, whilst shapes amongst the line drawings produced have inspired garment silhouettes, shapes, embroidery and print.
