AYESHA ANDERSON Concept Generation - Sense of Place Portfolio

I chose the beach as my sense of place because it is where I feel happy. It’s the wind in your hair, the sand and water over your feet and the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks. I chose to focus the project on the idea of minimal, comfortable clothes with subtle colours and prints. The two images below inspired my print used on garments. By manipulating the colours and effects on photoshop I was able to create a wood effect print. I selected the colours from the image of wood I took at the beach.
