A fusion of urban art and nature withheld in a quiet urban landscape. Both opposites, both in the same place, but work together so well.
CONCEPT GENERATION - DE1135 - ELISHA RONALD
RESEARCH I conducted research looking in to urban street art and nature based within an urban setting. I produced research using a range of different media and sources which strongly focussed around photography, illustration, paint, pro-markers and collage.
COLOUR & FABRICS When it came to deciding on what colours to use, I mainly focussed on urban street art. However, nature did have an effect on my decisons. The more basic colours, black, white and grey linked in with a fusion of them both. The brighter colours were more focussed on urban art but can still be linked with both areas.

ABSTRACT
I created these fabric manipulations by using different types of tie-dye effects. I chose to create these ones specifically using colours associated less with urban art and more with nature.
PRINTS
TURNED IN TO FABRICS I conducted research into prints and then went on to create my own. To create my prints I gathered areas of my primary research and then went on to edit them in photoshop to form repeated and singular patterns. I then used Bondaweb to transfer them on to fabric.
MOODBOARD
