Eclectic Space
Sense of place can be found within someone’s own space; where they are free to be themselves. Someone’s space can reflect the owner’s personality, by looking at the eclectic mix of their possessions. Studying one by one can make no sense, but when put together can reflect the person as a whole.

Turning objects into art; reflects love of creativity
Aspects from different places around the world; reflects love of travel and cultures By studying my room using creative photography, I experimented with the premise of connecting all the random objects as one. The things I found in my room were all possible inspirations, from the textures of my carpet, the colour juxtaposition of my plant and walls and the shapes of my guitar and cluttered mess on my floor; this also all played a connection of who I am, and how I express myself through my ‘own space’.

This collection is inspired by the eclectic mix of my own space, inspiration was derived from the idea that it can be worn wherever in the world, linking with my interest of ‘freedom, adventure and travel; where I also feel my sense of place. Being creative and artistic is also an inspiration, as evident from the patterns and prints; created from random aspects of my ‘own space’.
