CREATIVE EXPLORATION INTO HOW BRAIN TUMOURS CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INVOLUNTARY DISTORTION WITHIN THE MIND, ULTIMATELY ALTERING REALITY FOR THE SUFFERER.

FINDING INSPIRATION

LUNG CANCER IS A HORRIBLE DISEASE, LEADING TO SECONDARY BRAIN TUMOURS WHICH CAN DISTORT YOUR PERCEPTION OF REALITY. THE SUFFERER DOESN’T 100% UNDERSTAND WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON BECAUSE OF HALLUCINATIONS. I WAS TRULY FASCINATED BY FINDING BEAUTY IN SADNESS. IDEAS ARE DRIVEN FROM HOW THE SUFFERER MAY VIEW REALITY.

Inspired by personal experience. My unique personal thinking has given this concept fresh vibrancy. Translating innate thoughts to paper has developed a range of unique forms & ideas.

Refining Research

Exploring line has been central within my development. Expression through bold graphic lines vs soft organic forms, has created a very interesting contrast. An electric assortment of colours has helped set the tone for my concept.

Broad and playful exploration has allowed me to draw links between forms after getting it on paper. This free interpretation has built a innovative approach to commonly researched scientific interest (cancer).
