Election Department to hold events on 13th National Voters’ Day today

Jaipur: A state-level function will be organized by the Election Department Rajasthan on the 13th National Voters’ Day today at the Harishchandra Mathur Institute of Public Administration. Governor Kalraj Mishra will be the chief guest of the programme and Chief Secretary Usha Sharma will be the special guest.

Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta said that the programme will be organized on the theme of National Vot- ers’ Day. State election icons will also be present. National Voters’ Day will be organized in all the districts of the state. Gupta said that during the revision programme, names of about 20 lakh new voters have been added in all the 200 assembly constituencies of the State. A voter awareness exhibition will be organized at the function, where the journey of elections from independence until now will be shown.

Patwari Held With

Bribe In Dausa

Dausa: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday arrested a patwari while accepting a bribe of Rs. 4000. ACB sleuths informed the patwari, Ram Bhajan Meena, was posted in Kalakho gram panchayat of Bhandarej town of Dausa district.

—Laxmikant Sharma began from Dausa with thousands people. Elaborate security arrangements were made on Dausa-Jaipur border, police said.

5 Judicial Officers Transferred

in Raj Jaipur (FIB) : The Raj High Court administration on Tuesday transferred five judicial officers. As per the orders issued by HC Registrar Chandra Prakash Shrimali, Pramil Kumar Mathur has been transferred to Member Secretary of RALSA while Madhvi Dinkar has been sent to Karauli as District Judge.

Similarly, Ajay Shukla is posted as judge in Family Court (Third) in Jaipur Metro (I), Pradeep Kumar Verma was shifted to judge in commercial court in Alwar and Bhawani Shankar Pandya was transferred to MACT Court (Second), Udaipur.
