Kota: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Friday attended the mass marriage ceremony of Bairwa Samaj at Kumbha Stadium in Bundi.

Congratulating the newly married couples, he said that mass marriage functions are a sign of positive change in the society.
“Today is the auspicious day of Buddha Purnima and the beginning of a new life for newly wed couples. Apart from making their family life happy, they should also take a pledge to work together for the betterment of the society on this day,” he said.
Birla also participated in Shatchandi Mahayagya at Dadhiti Mateshwari Temple on Jaipur Road. Birla said that such events are the reflection of glorious culture of India.

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal to open a permanent bench of ‘Rajasthan Civil Services Appellate Tribunal’ in Jodhpur. This bench will be operated in court number-19 of the old heritage building of Jodhpur High Court. Gehlot has taken this decision keeping in view the convenience of the state person nel. The Chief Minister has also approved the creation of a total of 13 posts in this permanent bench including 2 posts of Member, 1 Assistant Registrar, 2 Information Assistant, 2 Senior Asst, 3 Junior Asst and 3 Personal Asst Grade-2. A financial provision of Rs 25 lakh has been made for necessary equipment and furniture for the office. With this, cases related to personnel like pension, salary fixation, promotion etc. will be resolved quickly.
CM APPROVES `18 CR FOR BUS STAND IN JODH
Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given financial approval of Rs 18 crore for the construction of modern bus stand in Jodhpur. This bus stand will be built in Paota fruit-vegetable market area of the city. It will also be connected by footbridge to Rai Ke Bagh railway station. With the construction of this bus stand equipped with modern facilities, on one hand, better facilities will be available to the passengers, on the other hand, there will be ease in movement and stoppage of buses.
