First India Bureau Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved a financial proposal of `11.87 crore for the purchase of 125 new vehicles for the District Pools and Revenue Board.

According to the proposal, 85 of these vehicles will be used for newly created ADM/SDM and for the replacement of unusable vehicles.

Along with this, 40 vehicles will be used for the newly created or upgraded tehsil offices in the Revenue Division.

It is noteworthy that in the budget of the year 2023-24, the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had announced to provide new vehicles with a view to increase the efficiency of the district administration.

The Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved multiple other proposals and development works.

`6.44 CRORE FOR CONSERVATION AND RENOVATION OF TEMPLES & MONUMENTS

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved a financial proposal of Rs 6.44 crore for the conservation and renovation of various temples and monuments of the state. Various facilities including conservation and restoration works will be developed at Shiv temples in Thawla and Jasnagar in Nagaur, Barahi Mata Temple in Alwar, Machadi Fort and Rani Ka Kuan and Kishori Mahal in Bharatpur. Funds for this will be made available from the Tourism Development Fund. With this decision, the important temples and monuments will be rejuvenatedand local tourism will also get a boost.

`17.70 CRORE FOR NEW GOVERNMENT NURSING COLLEGES IN STATE

Jaipur: New government nursing colleges will be opened at Masuda in Ajmer, Rawatbhata in Chittorgarh, and Nawan in Nagaur. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved a financial provision of `17.70 crore for the operation of new colleges. Approval has also been given to create 24 new posts for each college such as, 1 post each of Princi pal, Vice-Principal, Professor, 2 posts of Associate Pro fessor. Likewise, many other posts have also been approved.
