Jaipur: The enforcement wing of Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) on Saturday took action against an illegal colony being developed in the catchment area of the Dravyavati River. Officials informed that a colony was being developed by joining private and govt land near the Sanga Setu Bridge in the Sanganer area.

“It is for the fourth consecutive time that JDA action was taken on the said land. The land mafias had even previous- ly tried to construct roads and houses in the government land, but they were immediately razed by the police. The land falls in the catchment area of the Dravyavati River. The enforcement wing demolished the construction and removed the road on the eight-bigha land,” said officials.
