Jaipur : In good news for Jaipur airport, the airport administration has got approval for the use of 19 new parking lots. These parking lots were completed about three years ago, but could not be commissioned due to technical reasons. Now the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has given permission to the airport administration to use them.

Now, 33 aircrafts can be parked at the airport as opposed to 14 aircraft. Nineteen new parking lots were completed in December

2019. But due to technical and administrative laxity, approval for their use could not be obtained. These parkings are modelled on to Gurgaon from R’bore. In another incident, a youth died in a car accident on the DelhiMumbai Expressway in Alwar, while three youths were injured. The injured are being treated at Alwar District Hospital. All are residents of Delhi. According to police, suddenly a bike came in front of the car and the car overturned.

Seven more new parking lots are proposed, which will be of category E, which includes aircraft with a passenger capacity of 250 to 420. Jaipur airport will have 40 parking ways by next year.

10 labourers injured due to fire in Suncity Steel Factory

Jodhpur (FIB): Ten labourers were injured in Boranada area of Jodhpur on Saturday evening after a steel factory they were working in caught fire due to gas leakage. Police informed the incident took place at around 6:30pm in Suncity Steel Factory on Saturday.

“The labourers were working on the furnace in the steel factory when suddenly the gas started leaking. The fire engulfed the furnace within minutes and the labourers got scorched. The ten workers, including manager, were rushed to MGH for treatment,” police said.

Raj High Court likely to get 7 more new judges, names sent to Delhi

Five new judges may be from Jodhpur and two may come from Jaipur

First India Bureau Jaipur: Rajasthan High Court is likely to get 7 more new judges.

Advocates Sunil Beniwal, Vineet Jain, Sanjay Nahar, Deepak Menaria and Sandeep Shah are in the frontrunners for the appointment as the high court judge.

The names of Pankaj Gupta and Angad Mirdha are doing the rounds from Jaipur.

Sources said that 5 new judges may be from Jodhpur and two from Jaipur.

The names have been forwarded to Delhi. However, things will become clear only after the official announcement.
