Mumbai: Opposition leader Ajit Pawar spoke to the office bearers of his party in PimpriChinchwad on Thursday. Pawar said, “Chinchwad assembly by-election will be the beginning of the transformation of the city. There must be success in the Chinchwad assembly by-elections."

MLA Sunil Shelke, city president Ajit Gavane, women city president Kavita Alhat, former city president Sanjog Waghere, candidate Nana alias Vitthal Kate, etc., were present on this occasion. Pawar appealed to the officials to forget their differences and start working. He said that everyone should work as Mahavikas Aghadi, and victory will be ours.
Pawar said, “Congress candidate has withdrawn his nomination form in Pune. We will make such an effort in the Chinchwad assembly too. The picture of the Chinchwad as- sembly by-election will be clear tomorrow. We want to elect a Mahavikas Aghadi candidate.”
Pawar appealed to the office bearers that the workers of Congress, Shiv Sena, and NCP should devote themselves. He further added, “Sharad Pawar is keeping an eye on Chinchwad by-elections, along with me. We have only 18 days in hand. We need to understand the responsibility of the election.
The Congress candidate has withdrawn his nomination form in Pune. We will make such an effort in the Chinchwad assembly too. Tomorrow is the day to withdraw nomination papers. The picture of the Chinchwad assembly by-election will be clear tomorrow. We want to elect a Mahavikas Aghadi candidate.
