Patole slams Maharashtra govt, demands strict action

Mumbai: Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee(MPCC)

President Nana Patole slammed the state government and demanded immediate arrest of those who attacked MLC Pradnya Satav and demanded strict action against them.

“The attack on Satav is an example of the increased morale of criminals in Maharashtra. Crime has increased in the Shinde-Fadnavis government and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis has no control over the police force.

In the Shinde-Fadnavis government, even the public representatives are not safe, which is a serious issue,” he alleged. Patole further said that in the ShindeFadnavis government the MLAs of the ruling party are only openly bullying the public, threatening to break people’s bones, and open fire in broad daylight but no action is taken against them.

“Y-level security has been provided to ruling party MLAs and security to opposition leaders has been withdrawn,” he pointed out. “It is a sign of insensitivity that even when a woman MLA was attacked, the state home minister did not even utter a single word,” he further added.
